Hey all. Yesterday, I created my first contest so please do participate and support! As usual, I will be sharing three songs for Three Tune Tuesday. The band I chose to feature this week is The Cab. The Cab is an American rock band that started out in 2004. According to wikipedia, they went on a hiatus but they will soon be coming out with a new album but there's no clear date yet. Without further ado, let's get to the song sharing.
#1. Stand Up - The Cab
The first song I wanted to start out with is Stand Up. I like the beat of this song and I think the lyrics are catchy. I love the positivity this song brings. The song is talking about getting back up after going down from the problems in life. It's telling people to keep pushing and to not give up. Don't let dreams be dreams. You can only make those dreams come true if you stand up.
#2. Bad - The Cab
I decided to share Bad as the second song because I thought it was interesting. It starts off gentle but gets into that rock mode about halfway through the song. As for the meaning of the song, I think the guy wants to get a baddie girlfriend. Maybe the guy wants to have a more exciting love life or he's just super horny and wants to have sex. There can be many different interpretations. What are your thoughts, share it in the comments below.
#3. Angel With A Shotgun - The Cab
This is their most famous song! I actually didn't know that they were the original singer for this song. I usually listened to the nightcore version of this song which if I'm not mistaken is the most viewed nightcore song on YouTube. I believe I have also shared the nightcore version in Three Tune Tuesday in the past. This song is amazing. I love the melody and the lyrics are fire. The song is about a person protecting the person they love. They will do anything and this can be interpreted from their willingness to throw away their faith.
