An happy Friday to all hivers here! Another rainy day here, the water in the river close to my home is running very fast and maybe it will rain during the weekend too. This morning, in a pause from the rain, I went to visit the solo exhibition of my friend Giusy.
Days ago I was there during the opening, but during an opening usually we can meet a lot of people, but to watch in a relaxed way the artworks I always prefer to come back in a more quiet day and so this morning I did it.
I have to premise Giusy is a very nice person, really ironic and she loves so much the opera, so her works are always funny and inspired by different opera like, for example, the Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini.
I had my camera with me and so I took some pics to share with you!
At first, Giusy between some of her paintings (she works with acrylic colors):
In the following pic you can see a couple of funny pieces inspired by Botticelli. Just to know, Giusy loves to paint a character: a crocodile!
Me with Giusy:
The lights inside the exhibition room were really bad (I know it, because it's the same place where I did my solo exhibition one year ago ^_^ ), but I took some random pics for you:
I hope you appreciated this funny, ironic tour between the artworks by Giusy! ❤️
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
