An happy Sunday to all hivers here!
Here it's raining hard since this morning and the atmosphere is a little dark all around, so my furry friend Richy decided to sleep for the most part of the day on his warm blanket in the bedroom.
Richy is not so happy during these days because me and my hubby are cleaning the lab room and Richy looks a little confused too see all the things out of their usual place. 😁
Today I have no new artworks to show you (I have to finish a couple of them), but cleaning the lab I thought to show you some of my old pieces painted around 10 years ago, a sort of jump in the past!
At the start of my way on art I painted a lot of cats using different medium and surfaces and also in different style, because at that time I didn't have my own illustrative style.
The previous ones were oil on canvas, while the following one was a watercolor on canvas:
After a lot of different cats, I also started a series of "half faces". The "half faces" were just some exercises for me but I just found some of them in a corner of my lab and I think I'll give them some new touches (in my own illustrative style) to see if they could work in a different and better way. ❤️
Now I have to come back to clean the lab room (my poor old bones)!
