An happy Sunday to you all, I hope yoy are spending a nice day! Here in my area is raining hard since this morning and everything around me seems to be in a sort of pause. In a relaxing pause. My furry friend is sleeping on his blanket close to my sofa, my hubby is playing in front of his screen and I placed myself on the sofa to write this content. A very relaxed Sunday, believe me. ^_^
Today I woke me up with a new idea for one of my artwork and so I started to work on it after the first cup of coffee. In the following pics you can see the final result:
As you can see, the subject is one of my usual women in my own illustrative style. I was inspired by a pic that one of my friend shared on her social media about a Beautiful Demoiselle ((Calopteryx virgo). Cause the light and the shadows, the damfly in the pics lokks in black shades of colors and so it catched my attention and my imagination started to fly. 😊
This piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
