An happy Friday to you all!
The weekend is just around the corner and today the Sun is shining on the sky and so I think will have good weather during the next days, good enough to enjoy a little time outside. ❤️
This is the time of the year when a lot of robins use to fly around from tree to tree and I like to watch them from my window, they make me feel in the right mood.
Today, thinking about the birds, I decided to paint a new one: a Diamond Dove. There are some Doves here in my area, but I've never seen in real a Diamond Dove, just on some pics shared by people online. I was intrigued by this kind of bird because the shades of grey of the body and the little white spots on the wings.

As you can see, it's a bird portrait in my own illustrative style, a sweet (and fat) Diamond Dove.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
