Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
I hope you are spending a nice weekend. This morning my mom (she lives in a village not so far from me) came to me to go together to visit the Museum of Embrodery in the center of my city. The Museum is a small museum but very interesting to visit and she was happy to see all that beautiful old embroderies. I took some pics and I will tell you more about this museum in one of my next contents, promise! ❤️
When I came back at home my mind is full of new ideas, but yesterday in the afternoon I started to work on a head of woman in papier-mâché with the strips method and I couldn't wait to finish that piece with my brushes and colors.
In the following pic, you can see the final result of the piece:
It's just a sort of exercise because I need to improve this tecnique, but I think the result is not so bad and I'm pretty sure the next I'll create will be better. 😁
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on a shape I created in papier-mâché and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
