scrolling through the LEO richlist on HE.
There is a lot of staked LEO not curating or doing anything.

How do you feel about this?
I guess it just makes our curation more valuable.

thoughts?

Sort:

Yeah done that before and notice the same. Its a shame that there $LEO not being used.

does it make ours worth bigger curation rewards for the new Dash users?

Well I guess it does? But I would rather love to have more big accounts being active curating and posting

are they active on hive? Or not active anywhere?

some are active on Hive but some are not.

a chunk of Lions though are very active with their curation. the top dogs and OGs of the platform are here every day.

that's not the perfect answer, but i do love to see that leadership from up top.

hmmmm...
the richlist doesn't support that.
yes there are some OG's and the top few accounts are here but the next 50 largest it is hit or miss.

we got khal, onealfa and task...we are good lol

Yeah. It's a shame, but it is just the way it is for now. Whenever the price goes up it improves.

Critical mass must be reached to help all of that. How that happens I don't know, but I think referrals and attracting new users is the right idea.

yeah I don't know about all that.
I just make games

I agree. I don't care much with staked, those are their own tokens but there are some accounts with delegated LEO not active and not curating.

can't argue with that

I think you're right, since the daily inflation is the same regardless of number/weight of votes.

I'm also really missing more larger accounts actively curating Threads and Shorts in particular. It also appears that many bigger accounts still are strangely hesitant that to give any significant kind of votes to threads/shortform. The sentiment that short-form content somehow has has lower value than longform has gotten a lot better, but still a way to go. I myself spend most of my VP on threads.
