Overweight is when one is bigger than the normal body weight in which the person is supposed to be. The body weight which is supposed to be normal is 28.5 - 24.9 but in overweight is bigger which is 25-29.9.. when one is 10 percent bigger than the normal weight including for the specific age, height and sex then the person is termed overweight.
There are different causes of overweight in which includes
- Genetics: Genetics can really be a cause of overweight for example a situation in which the family are attributed to have a fat body mass and now pass it down to the second generation.
- Physical activity: sometimes when tgere is lack of physical activity it leads to large fat mass being accumulate in the body. The calorie intake and output should always be same so that the body function very well. We should not eat in much calorie and not loss it in any way but we should try always to loss it through various ways.
- Environmental factors: The environment in which is in can cause one to be overweight. It can be like unhealthy diet being consumed in the environment influencing one so negatively in which can cause overweight.
One thing is that when we want to lose weight it should always be done in an healthy way.

Food is like a fuel that really helps in the normal functioning of the body so we should always eat food and eat thrm in the right adequacy to help our body.
Overweight can really be heped to reduce by engaging in physical activity, trying to eat healthy diet and doing that in which we are supposed to do.
