Cheers to the survivors

Now I wonder who are these people who want to celebrate frenetically, get drunk, scream, dance to bangers, kiss and wish each other a happy new year. But what are they actually celebrating this way? That they survived an extra year? Well, survival certainly needs such celebration.😃 Otherwise, I cannot explain such behavior, such an attitude towards this day, this evening, this night... an ordinary night like all other nights of the year, only maybe a little colder (when talking about the northern hemisphere) because in this night many people insist on being out, or insist on traveling to be somewhere else, or going to inevitably expensive pubs and restaurants and then having to walk home in the cold on the streets... And they also insist on paying a large amount of money on that very night for something they would pay 10 times less on any other night, etc. etc.
Well, cheers to the frenzied partyers and cheers to the survivors this year!
