Something colorful, warm, welcoming for the end of summer... cozy... which is what autumn is, but I want to keep summer in my posts. Why? You know very well why.
I took this photo, this flower, this plant on the coast. Almost in the summer. Right in the summer. No autumn. Therefore, this color is a symbol of summer, not autumn, however unexpected and illogical that may be.
This beauty, atypical for these latitudes, atypically can serve to preserve summer as long as it can be done.
Yesterday it rained very hard, almost a storm, but today the sun is as strong as before, almost. Almost summer sun. What I want it to be preserved.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
