I heard of mental fatigue multiple times, but never experienced it. As the name suggest, it occurs when we we make use of our brain much than their limit. Just un case of the physical fatigueness, when our body gives up from doing much extra. Once it reach the state of fatigue, the ominous sign is to take sleep. Same things happens me today, when I went to bed much before than my usual time. And as I woke up, I feel refresh.

Mental tiredness, also known as mental fatigue, occurs to a person when their brain becomes depleted of energy. It may happen due to prolonged periods of demanding cognitive tasks, such as intense focus, complex problem-solving, or dealing with high levels of stress. I was in sort of one such situation. Yesterday, I did a lot of thinking about shifting my room. Nobody likes to move quickly but it my cad, I have been looking g a better place since ai shifted to my place. The aura and the ambience of the place does not appears to be good and noticed some negativity in the environment. Now after 8 month, leaving this place took a lot of thinking. People does not get everything all the time and I did went past my mental energy level in process.
When your brain is working hard, neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin can become depleted, impacting cognitive function and contributing to feelings of tiredness. The first reaction that triggers unnour mind is to take sleep. I experinced the same while I was thinking a lot over the shifting issue, I started feeling sleepy. I usually sleep at 10.30 to 11 At night but yesterday I feel too sleepy around 8.30. Which was very unusual. Now as I woke up, I realised what happens to me. It was due to the over thinking on the issue, that put me under tiredness and made me to fall asleep before my usual time. It was strange how our body gives up so easily. To avoid the fatigue and any critical impact of health, we should do following :
- Regularly step away from demanding tasks to rest your mind.
- Prioritize quality sleep to recharge your brain.
- Meditation and deep breathing exercises can help manage stress and improve focus.
- Exercise has been shown to enhance cognitive function and reduce fatigue.
- Eat nutritious meals with proper hydration to support brain function.
- Prioritize tasks and set realistic goals to avoid feeling overwhelmed
Many people unable to understand the situation and get into more rigorous assignment, which can worsen the mental condition. Mental fatigue can negatively affect performance at work, in relationships, and in daily activities, potentially leading to accidents or poor decision-making. One should identify the situation, the symptoms like difficulty concentrating, decreased alertness, slower reaction times, impaired decision-making, reduced work efficiency, increased errors, and a general feeling of lethargy or drowsiness, making it harder to focus on tasks and complete them effectively.
A sound mind lead to healthy well being. So it is always recomended to put more focus on mental well being. It our mental status remain healthy, everything fallnin place perfectly. Do not overburden them.
In good faith - Peace!!
