As we grow up, we alwsys try to look back to our childhood or often try to co-relate looking at the née kidd on the block. Childhood times alwsys used to be the best time in everyone life. The time when we used to be stress free and lived happily with obsession bother around. There were many things we used to do but somehow during the course of life we tend to forget. Infact we even forget to look back of all the old stuffs that were kept at any corner of the house. I remember keeping a stack of many items from my childhood. But hardly ever get a time to check on them.

Thanks to the presence of elders at home, who guided me to keep all those things. I remeber, I have lots of handmade greeting cards, Rakhi, coins, few pocket calender and diary, number of pen and stationary and few toys. I even kept my fee school report card. We used to be very innocent to keep a track of such items, but it was the siblings and elders at home who made usbunderstand, how those items always brings smile and joy to us in later stage of life. The worth of them are known now. Although last few years, I didn't check on them, but remembering going through them few years. Once the box was open, how time flies so fast remain unnoticed. It was some wonderful collection of wonderful moments of life. Looking at the gifts, messages on them always give a sense of Cheerfulness.

Growing up, but never apart.

The ability to remember things depends on the context in which we learned them. Remembering the past is a fundamental part of being human and can help us in many ways, including:

  • Forming identity: Memories can give us a sense of continuity and provide important details about who we are and who we want to be.

  • Solving problems: Memories can offer potential solutions to current problems and help guide us when solving them.

  • Social interactions: Personal memories are essential for social interactions.

  • Regulating emotions: Memories can help us regulate our emotions.

  • Learning lessons: Memories can teach us valuable lessons and reinforce our values.

We often find ourself in a situation when having kidd around gives us immense satisfaction and happiness. The presence of them always took us to our childhood days we get nostalgic. We try to relive those moments. Just few days ago, I started playing cricket seeing the kids playing on the street. Such little moments is always enjoyable. Likewise having any childhood stuffs around alwsys gives us a sense of fund and make us cherish those moments. I simply enjoy watching my old stuffs secured in the box. May be next time I write a detailed post about it.

This is my entry to Day 24 of Inleo Writing Prompt for the m/o June.

Peace!!

Memories are very important for life because of the aspects you mention, especially for learning and not making the same mistakes again, but the problem is not to stay living there.
