Global Temperature Is going Parabolic Soon

in #hive-167922last month

Summer is in its last month, but we are once again headed into a new heatwave, at least here in Greece. I believe the same is happening across the world. The news is going wild about the heatwaves and how much more severe heatwaves and extreme weather conditions have become in recent years. Don’t fool yourselves—the heat is not the only problem. Extreme rainfalls are producing the equivalent of half a year's rain in just 10 hours, or there’s no rain at all. In my city, it has rained three times since May. The first two times lasted for 2 to 3 hours, and the last one for 3 to 4 hours. This is also why many lakes have no water, and agriculture is suffering. But let’s see how this year is going so far

source
January

  • 0.70°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for January
  • The warmest January on record, 0.12°C warmer than January 2020, the previous warmest January
  • 1.66°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900.

February

  • 0.8°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for February
  • the warmest February on record, 0.12°C warmer than February 2016, the previous warmest February
  • 1.77°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900.

March

  • 0.73°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for March
  • The warmest March on record, 0.10°C warmer than March 2016, the previous warmest March
  • 1.68°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900

April

  • 0.67°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for April
  • The warmest April on record, 0.14°C warmer than April 2016, the previous warmest April
  • 1.58°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900

May

  • 0.65°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for May
  • The warmest May on record, 0.19°C warmer than May 2020, the previous warmest May
  • 1.52°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900

June

  • 0.67°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for June
  • The warmest June on record, 0.14°C warmer than June 2023, the previous warmest June
  • 1.50°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900

July

  • 0.68°C warmer than the 1991-2020 average for July;
  • The second-warmest July on record, only 0.04°C cooler than July 2023, the warmest July;
  • The end of a 13-month period when each month was the warmest in the ERA5 data record for the respective month of the year;
  • 1.48°C warmer than an estimate of the pre-industrial average for 1850-1900;

The data are clear: for the past 13 months, there has been an uptrend in global temperatures, with each month being, on average, the warmest on record since measurements began. What does this show us? Despite July not being the warmest July ever, when a trend is established—especially one that spans so many consecutive months—it is hard to break. One concerning piece of data is that each month has been 1.5 degrees or more above the pre-industrial level, a figure of significant importance. This suggests that the damage to the climate is likely irreversible. If you consider technical analysis, an uptrend like this will eventually lead to a parabolic move, making life in many places almost impossible. The damage to agriculture will create problems in feeding the population, potentially leading to the breakdown of our global society. Of course, there are still people who don’t believe in global warming despite all this evidence. I hope they are the ones who are right.

Honestly I don't want to believe it isn't reversible, saying that means we should be expecting genocide soon as that will start creeping into the mindset of people in other for survival, the conquest era might just start again.

Wouldn't trying to return the agricultural heritage the cure to it all,I think we have to research more on these, if restoration is not possible then maintenance should be possible.
