This is definitely another great topic to develop topics about HIVE.
Here are my tips for new users.
1 - Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok.. HIVE is something else
This is the first thing to understand. Unfortunately in the past I made the mistake of not explaining this thing well to new users who made some pretty serious mistakes. These mistakes drove them away from the platform.
Signing up to HIVE is not simply creating a profile on a social network, but creating a profile with a wallet that will always remain linked to your user. Many still associate their username with the simple profile (as with the platforms mentioned in the title of the paragraph), but in HIVE this is not the case. The username is the custodian and manager of your Hive Wallet.
2 - Pay attention to your passwords, it's no longer just a social network
When you have a profile on HIVE you start to own passwords. You must pay maximum attention to these passwords. Each password has a use case and a level of security. Losing your passwords means a lot of things: no longer being able to control your profile, no longer being able to carry out operations with HIVE tokens, no longer having management of your Hive Wallet. For new users, it is important to keep your passwords in a safe place. Losing your passwords or leaving them in someone else's hands means damaging the work you have done up to that point. Passwords are not recoverable because no one knows them. HIVE is a decentralized system, so HIVE does not own the passwords it has given to users. Anyone who gets hold of HIVE passwords is able to withdraw money from the Hive Wallet.
3 - If it seems difficult, there's a reason
The first thing a novice notices is the remuneration for posts. Being paid to write what we like is something fantastic. However, HIVE does not give this dream away, everything at once does not exist in HIVE. The algorithm that regulates HIVE was created to reward those who are good and who are consistent. HIVE does not reward anyone on their first day of work. To achieve the goals you have to work consistently. This is already decided by the algorithm that is not changeable. So when the new user sees that his posts get a few cents of a dollar, he must understand that this also happens based on the fact that he has been on the platform for a short time. The reputation of a profile grows with the activity spread over time.
From here on there are points that are useful, but that take a back seat to the first three that are priorities
4 - Look for the communities closest to your interests
To start you have to think a little about your interests and then search in the various HIVE communities to find the one that is closest to what you like.
5 - Follow some expert users
Following one or more profiles of HIVE veterans helps a lot. These users can provide explanations based on their own experience. In addition, veterans help a lot to better understand the HIVE rules, which initially must be repeated several times.
6 - Exploring the HIVE ecosystem several times
The HIVE ecosystem, today, is really very large. You can find applications suitable for blogging and microblogging, photo sharing, podcast creation and video sharing. Today in HIVE there is certainly an application suitable for each of us, if this is not the case it is simply due to the fact that you have not done a good search or you have been badly advised. Exploring HIVE applications is an activity that I still do. Here too you need to understand that HIVE revolves around the data of your profile and that we can use all the HIVE applications with our profile, we do not have to create new accounts for each HIVE application that we use.
Conclusions
For novices, again in my opinion and my experience, there are three fundamental points to understand that are useful to understand that you are inside a new world. Understanding that you are inside a different system gets the user off on the right foot. I have noticed that many HIVE members tend to think for the first few months that it is a web 2.0 social network and then make mistakes, some of which are remediable, others not, such as losing passwords.

Questo è sicuramente un altro ottimo tema su cui sviluppare argomenti riguardo ad HIVE.
Qui di seguito i miei consigli per i nuovi utenti.
1 - Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok.. HIVE è un’altra cosa
Questa è la prima cosa da comprendere. Purtroppo in passato ho fatto l’errore di non spiegare bene questa cosa ai nuovi utenti che hanno fatto errori piuttosto gravi. Questi errori li hanno allontanati dalla piattaforma.
Iscriversi ad HIVE non è semplicemente creare un profilo su un social network, ma creare un profilo con un portafoglio che rimarrà sempre collegato al proprio utente. Molti ancora associano il proprio nome utente al semplice profilo (come per le piattaforme citate nel titolo del paragrafo), ma in HIVE non è così. Il nome utente è il depositario e gestore del proprio Hive Wallet.
2 - Fare attenzione alle password, non è più soltanto un social network
Quando si ha un profilo su HIVE si iniziano a possedere delle password. L’attenzione verso queste password deve essere massima. Ogni password ha un caso di utilizzo ed un grado di sicurezza. Perdere le password significa una grande quantità di cose: non poter più controllare il proprio profilo, non poter più fare operazioni con i token di HIVE, non aver più la gestione del proprio Hive Wallet. Per i nuovi utenti è importante conservare le password in un posto sicuro. Perdere le password o lasciarle in mano a qualcun altro significa creare un danno al lavoro che si è fatto fino a quel momento. Le password non sono recuperabili in quanto nessuno le conosce. HIVE è un sistema decentralizzato, quindi HIVE non possiede le password che ha consegnato agli utenti. Chi viene in possesso delle password di HIVE è in grado di prelevare il denaro all’interno dell’Hive Wallet.
3 - Se vi sembra difficile c’è un motivo
La prima cosa che il novizio nota è la remunerazione dei post. Essere remunerati per scrivere ciò che ci piace è qualcosa di fantastico. Però HIVE non regala questo sogno, il tutto subito in HIVE non esiste. L’algoritmo che regola HIVE è stato fatto per premiare chi è bravo e chi è costante. HIVE non premia nessuno al primo giorno di lavoro. Per raggiungere gli obiettivi bisogna lavorare con costanza. Questo è già deciso dall’algoritmo che non è mutabile. Quindi quando il nuovo utente vede che i suoi post prendono pochi centesimi di dollaro, deve comprendere che questo avviene in base anche al fatto che è da poco tempo presente sulla piattaforma. La reputazione di un profilo cresce con l’attività spalmata nel tempo.
Da qui in poi ci sono punti che sono utili, ma che passano in secondo piano rispetto ai primi tre che sono prioritari
4 - Cercare le comunità più vicine ai propri interessi
Per iniziare bisogna pensare un po’ ai propri interessi e poi cercare nelle varie comunità di HIVE qual è quella che più si avvicina a ciò che piace.
5 - Seguire qualche utente esperto
Seguire uno o più profili di veterani o veterane di HIVE aiuta moltissimo. Questi utenti possono fornire spiegazioni in base alla propria esperienza. Inoltre i veterani aiutano molto a comprendere meglio le regole di HIVE, che inizialmente devono essere ripetute più volte..
6 - Esplorare più volte l’ecosistema di HIVE
L’ecosistema di HIVE, oggi, è davvero molto ampio. Si possono trovare applicazioni adatte al blogging e microblogging, alla condivisione di foto, alla creazione di podcast e alla condivisione di video. Oggi in HIVE c’è sicuramente l’applicazione adatta ad ognuno di noi, se non è così è semplicemente dovuto al fatto che non si è fatta una buona ricerca o si è stati consigliati male. Esplorare le applicazioni di HIVE è un attività che anch’io faccio tuttora. Anche qui bisogna capire che HIVE ruota tutto attorno ai dati del proprio profilo e che possiamo con il nostro profilo usare tutte le applicazioni di HIVE, non dobbiamo fare nuovi account per ogni applicazione di HIVE che usiamo.
Conclusioni
Per i novizi, sempre secondo me e la mia esperienza, ci sono tre punti fondamentali da recepire che servono per capire che si è dentro ad un mondo nuovo. Il capire che si è all’interno di un sistema differente fa partire l’utente con il piede giusto. Io ho notato che molti iscritti ad HIVE tendono per i primi mesi a pensare che sia un social network web 2.0 e poi commettono errori, di cui alcuni rimediabili, altri no, come la perdita delle password.
