Dear hivers, today I want to share with you and the beautiful #dailyblog community how our day went. I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing Sunday. We tried to do something different today, as our week was pretty intense and we deserved some rest and distraction.
So, in the afternoon we headed to the Sambil shopping mall, with the intention of getting out of the house, going for a walk and having a snack. When we arrived at one of the doors of the mall, the first thing that greeted us was a Tordo walking towards the door, just like us. That was funny to me because he was trying to get in, as many people give him some food and he was looking for them.
Queridos hivers, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes y con la bella comunidad de #dailyblog cómo fue nuestro día. Espero que todos hayan tenido un domingo descansado y relajado. Nosotros hoy tratamos de hacer algo diferente, ya que nuestra semana fue bastante intensa y nos merecíamos algo de descanso y distracción.
Por eso, en la tarde nos dirigimos al centro comercial Sambil, con el ánimo de salir de casa, dar una vuelta y merendar algo. Al llegar a una de las puertas del centro comercial, lo primero que nos recibió fue un Tordo que caminaba en dirección a la puerta, al igual que nosotros. Eso me causó gracia porque él intentaba entrar, ya que muchas personas le dan un poco de alimento y él iba en busca de ellos.
I really like to enter through this door of the Sambil mall because it has many plants and I really like to see the green tone inside the mall, and the first souvenir stores that resemble stilt houses, these two stores like their green surroundings, gives life and joy to this area of the mall, that's why I love this entrance so much.
Me agrada mucho entrar por esta puerta del centro comercial Sambil porque tiene bastantes plantas y me gusta mucho ver el tono verde dentro del centro comercial, y las primeras tiendas de souvenirs que semejan casas de palafito, estas dos tiendas como su entorno verde, le da vida y alegría esta área del centro comercial, por eso adoro tanto esta entrada.
We began to walk gently, as we were going for a leisurely stroll and to see where to have a snack. But our son, upon finding a computer store, stopped and spent some time asking and checking to see if anything was good for him. I think for the first time he went into a computer store and came out empty-handed. Apparently, what was on offer was of no interest to him, so we continued our tour of the wide aisles.
Comenzamos a caminar suavemente, ya que se trataba de dar un paseo relajado e ir viendo dónde merendar. Pero nuestro hijo, al encontrar una tienda de computación, se detuvo y pasó un rato preguntando y revisando si algo le venía bien. Creo que por primera vez entró a una tienda de computación y salió con las manos vacías. Al parecer, lo que ofertaban no era de su interés, así que continuamos nuestro recorrido por los amplios pasillos.
We arrived at the area we were looking for, the “Feria Gourmet del Sambil”. Here we could choose what we wanted, but first we wanted, from the balcony, to appreciate the whole area.
Llegamos al área que estábamos buscando, la “Feria Gourmet del Sambil”. Aquí podríamos escoger lo que deseábamos, pero antes quisimos, desde el balcón, apreciar toda el área.
Most notably, the giant amusement park right in the center of this area, where parents let their children expend a little of their energy while the parents order food. This playground is located just below the mall's dome, which makes it doubly appealing for kids to climb to the top, which luckily for me is long past that stage of altruism because it is quite high, this playground.
Muy en particular, el parque gigante de diversiones que hay justo en el centro de esta área, donde los padres dejan que sus hijos gasten un poco de su energía mientras los padres piden los alimentos. Esta área de juegos está ubicada justo debajo de la cúpula del centro comercial,lo que para los niños se vuelve doblemente atractiva la subida a lo más alto, que por suerte para mí hace mucho que pase esa etapa de altruismo porque es bastante alta, esta área de juegos.
From the point where we were, we chose where we would snack. So we decided on potatoes and chicken. When we finished, we went home and, as you all know, always appreciating the scenery that I love so much about the island. It doesn't matter if the afternoon is rainy, the most important thing is to see the scenery around us.
Desde el punto donde nos encontrábamos, escogimos dónde merendaríamos. Así que nos decidimos por papas y pollo. Al terminar, nos fuimos para la casa y, como todos saben, siempre apreciando el paisaje que tanto me gusta de la isla. No importa si la tarde está lluviosa, lo más importante es ver los paisajes que hay a nuestro alrededor.
Arriving home, we felt refreshed and ready to face a new week with energy and enthusiasm.
