Today I want to share with you, friends of #wednesdaywalk , a tour that I really enjoyed thanks to the initiative of our dear friend @tattoodjay . Thanks to him, I have had the opportunity to know different places around the world.
To give this tour that I will show you today, we had to get up very early, since the place was an hour and a half drive from the town where I live. I tell you that I had the opportunity to visit the “Plaza de los Bomberos”, located in Boca de Rio, in the peninsula of Macanao, in the state of Nueva Esparta, Margarita Island.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes, amigos de #wednesdaywalk , un recorrido que me gustó mucho gracias a la iniciativa de nuestro querido amigo @tattoodjay . Gracias a él, he tenido la oportunidad de conocer diversos lugares del mundo entero.
Para dar este recorrido que les mostraré hoy, nos tuvimos que levantar muy temprano, ya que el lugar quedaba a hora y media de viaje de la localidad donde yo vivo. Les cuento que tuve la oportunidad de conocer la “Plaza de los Bomberos", ubicada en Boca de Río, en la península de Macanao, en el estado Nueva Esparta, Isla Margarita.
We have given ourselves the task at home to get to know the different places and spaces that this peninsula has. We had been told that in this peninsula we were going to find landscapes and places. Therefore, today I will tell you about this square which is one of the first places we have discovered.
This small but cozy square is located right in front of the small boardwalk of Boca de Rio. The statue that recreates a fireman holding a person in his arms caught my attention.
Nos hemos dado la tarea en casa de conocer los diferentes lugares y espacios que tiene esta península. Nos habían comentado que en esta península íbamos a encontrar paisajes y lugares . Por eso, hoy les hablaré de esta plaza que es uno de los primeros lugares que hemos descubierto.
Esta pequeña pero acogedora plaza se encuentra justo frente al pequeño malecón de Boca de Río. Me llamó mucho la atención la estatua que recrea a un bombero sosteniendo a una persona en sus brazos.
At the foot of the monument there are two plaques that tell of the year in which the marine firefighters were founded in Boca de Rio, which was 08/16/1976, and also reflect the year in which this monument was erected in recognition of their effort and courage, 10/04/2000.
Al pie del monumento hay dos placas que hablan del año en que fueron fundados los bomberos marinos en Boca de Río, que fue el 16/08/1976, y también reflejan el año en que fue elaborado este monumento como reconocimiento a su esfuerzo y valor, el 04/10/2000.
I really liked how well maintained it is and how, despite the drought that has deteriorated some plants, they are replanting them.
Me gustó mucho lo bien cuidado que lo mantienen y cómo, a pesar de la sequía que ha deteriorado algunas plantas, las están resembrando.
In front of this park you can see the sea and very close to the boats. I enjoyed walking through this small square; over the years, the planted trees will grow and it will be a small green space by the sea.
Frente a este parque se ve el mar y muy cerca los barcos. Me gustó caminar por esta pequeña plaza; con los años, los árboles plantados crecerán y será un pequeño espacio verde junto al mar.
Dear friends, I could not fail to show you this square that caught my attention. Afterwards, I continued my tour through the streets of Boca de Rio to better appreciate this charming place, until I spotted some beautiful dogs in the distance and that's where we headed in search of another discovery.
Queridos amigos, no podía dejar de mostrarles esta plaza que me llamó tanto la atención. Después, continué mi recorrido por las calles de Boca de Río para poder apreciar mejor este encantador lugar, hasta que divisé a lo lejos unos hermosos perros y hacia allá nos dirigimos en busca de otro descubrimiento.
