I hope you are very well and can enjoy a well deserved weekend. I tell you that mine seems to be very busy, since I still have some pending issues with the filters at Hotel Unik and until everything is solved, there will be no rest.
Today, on my way to and from the city, the car had an electrical failure. I decided to return to the city and asked my husband to accompany me. As expected, the car failed once again, very close to the Venetur Hotel. While my husband checked the problem, I went to the hotel beach to see the sea.

Espero que estén muy bien y puedan disfrutar de un merecido fin de semana. Les cuento que el mío parece ser de mucho trabajo, ya que aún tengo algunos pendientes con los filtros en el Hotel Unik y hasta que no quede todo solucionado, no habrá descanso.
Hoy, en mi ir y venir a la ciudad, el carro presentó una falla eléctrica. Decidí volver a la ciudad y pedí a mi esposo que me acompañara. Como era de esperar, el carro falló una vez más, muy cerca del Hotel Venetur. Mientras mi esposo revisaba el problema, me acerqué a la playa del hotel para ver el mar.
When I feel really overwhelmed, I try to go to the sea in the afternoon because it is something that relaxes me enormously. These days have been a bit intense, nothing I can't handle, but very intense. I am sure that being near the sea will lighten my load a bit.
Cuando me siento muy agobiada, trato de ir por la tarde al mar porque es algo que me relaja enormemente. Estos días han sido un poco intensos, nada que no pueda manejar, pero muy intensos. Estoy segura de que estar cerca del mar aliviará un poco mi carga.
When I reached the shore of the beach, I was amazed. I could not count the number of birds I saw: pelicans, gannets and gulls, and perhaps some other species I do not know. As I got closer to the shore, I could see fishermen gathering their nets and feeding many of these birds with sardines. The birds were flying and splashing very close to them.
Al llegar a la orilla de la playa, quedé asombrada. No podría contar la cantidad de aves que vi: pelícanos, alcatraces y gaviotas, y quizás alguna otra especie que no conozco. Mientras más me acercaba a la orilla, pude ver a los pescadores recogiendo sus redes y alimentando a gran parte de estas aves con sardinas. Las aves volaban y chapoteaban muy cerca de ellos.
Some fishermen would even throw sardines into the air and the birds would catch them in mid-flight. It was really beautiful. While I was taking pictures of this beautiful spectacle, one of the fishermen approached me and asked me why I was taking pictures. I told him that I thought it was really beautiful and I wanted to capture it in pictures. Very smiling, he told me that he had not seen anything, that if he came at 9:00 am he would see twice as much as he did at that moment.
Incluso, algunos pescadores lanzaban sardinas al aire y las aves las atrapaban en pleno vuelo. Era algo realmente bello. Mientras tomaba fotos de este hermoso espectáculo, uno de los pescadores se me acercó y me preguntó por qué tomaba fotos. Le dije que consideraba que era algo realmente bello y quería capturarlo en las fotos. Muy sonriente, me dijo que no había visto nada, que si venía a las 9:00 am vería el doble de lo que había en ese momento.
He explained to me that at that time they bring the nets full of sardines, enough to give them their share. He showed me the nets and gear they use. "There are too many birds," I said, and with a smile he replied, "When you are at sea, they are my guide and my companions. Maybe you don't understand that". I replied that I did understand, that the birds and the fishermen are a giant family that protect each other in and out of the sea.
Me explicó que a esa hora traen las redes llenas de sardinas, suficientes para darles a ellos su parte. Me mostró las redes y avíos que usan. "Son demasiadas aves", le dije yo, y con una sonrisa me contestó: "Cuando uno está en el mar, ellas son mi guía y mis compañeras. Eso tal vez usted no lo comprenda". Le respondí que sí lo comprendía, que las aves y los pescadores son una familia gigante que se protegen mar adentro y mar afuera.
Then the fishermen started to pick up the boat and I got a little closer. I could see the birds flying over my head. I can't describe to you the emotion that came over me, so much so that for moments I forgot that my husband was in a battle with the car.
Después, los pescadores comenzaron a recoger el bote y me acerqué un poco más. Pude ver cómo las aves volaban sobre mi cabeza. No puedo describirles la emoción que me invadió, tanto que por momentos olvidé que mi esposo estaba en una batalla con el auto.
In the end, my husband found the fault with the car. Now we had to buy more fuses and change some wires. As the car was ready, I said goodbye to the fishermen and took one last look at the sea before leaving.
Al final, mi esposo dio con la falla del auto. Ahora queda comprar más fusibles y cambiar unos cables. Como ya el auto estaba listo, me despedí de los pescadores y le di una última mirada al mar antes de marcharme.
