Hello dear hivers and friends of #dailyblog, I hope you had a happy start of the week. Mine started with very good dynamics, the weather was great and on my way to work I was able to appreciate the natural goodness, it's something I love and enjoy. Luckily for me, today my husband was driving. It is up to him today to drive me and pick me up since he will be in the city, I like him to drive and even more when the traffic is heavy like these days when there are still people on vacation.
¡Hola queridos hivers y amigos de #dailyblog, Espero que hayan tenido un feliz comienzo de semana. El mío comenzó con muy buena dinámica, el clima estaba excelente y en mi camino al trabajo pude apreciar las bondades naturales, es algo que amo y disfruto. Por suerte para mí, hoy manejaba mi esposo. A él le corresponde hoy llevarme e irme a buscar ya que estará en la ciudad, me gusta que el maneje y más cuando el tráfico está pesado como estos días que aún hay personas de vacaciones.
Today I only had to go to the bank and to check the chlorine levels of the Unik hotel, but since I didn't spend Saturday or Sunday, on Mondays there is usually something new. First I went in through the bank because it was very early and then I went to the hotel which was very close.
Hoy solo tenía que ir al banco y a revisar los niveles de cloro del hotel Unik, pero como no pasé ni sábado ni domingo, los lunes por lo general hay alguna novedad. Primero entré por el banco porque era bien temprano y después con más calma fui para el hotel que estaba muy cerca.
Leaving the hotel I waited for my husband to pick me up, as I left earlier than planned, because everything flows very well even though it is Monday.
We changed the road because the traffic is still heavy, as there are quite a few tourists on the island despite the fact that classes have already started, but there are other people enjoying their last days of vacation to the fullest.
Al salir del hotel esperé que mi esposo pasara por mí, pues salí antes de lo previsto, porque todo fluye muy bien a pesar de ser lunes.
Cambiamos el camino porque el tráfico aún está pesado, ya que hay bastantes turistas en la Isla a pesar de que ya comenzaron las clases, pero hay otras personas disfrutando al máximo sus últimos días de vacaciones.
We took a tremendous tour, which was good for me because I was appreciating the intense blue of the sky, contrasting with the urban aspect of the city.
Dimos un tremendo recorrido, para mí estuvo bien ya que iba apreciando el azul intenso que tenía el cielo, contrastando con lo urbano de la ciudad.
So we arrived in our town, and when we passed by Avícola Melo, a fresh chicken shop, we decided to buy one because our son is a chicken lover and we wanted to surprise him. In my town there are several people who sell “beneficiado” chicken, which is the name given to fresh chicken. They slaughter it and peel it, and if you want, they chop it too. For me it is much better because it is fresh and tastes like chicken, the frozen ones lose a bit of flavor. So I went home with a fresh and already chopped chicken, ready to put it in the pot.
Así llegamos a nuestro municipio, y al pasar por Avícola Melo, una venta de pollo fresco, decidimos comprar uno porque nuestro hijo es amante del pollo y queremos darle la sorpresa. En mi localidad hay varias personas que venden pollo beneficiado, así se le llama al pollo fresco. Lo matan y lo pelan, y si quieres te lo pican también. Para mí es mucho mejor porque es fresco y tiene gusto a pollo, los congelados pierden un poco el sabor. Así que me fui para la casa con un pollo fresco y ya picado, listo para colocarlo en la olla.
After arriving home and seeing our son's joy, I decided it was a good time to prepare a special meal. While I cooked the chicken, my husband and I talked about our plans for the week. We love spending time as a family, I wouldn't trade them for anything.
Sometimes it can be a challenge balancing work and family life for me, but moments like these, when we are all together and happy, make it all worth it.
Finally, dinner was ready and we sat down at the table. Our son was delighted with the chicken and couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. It was the perfect ending to a productive day full of little joys.
Después de llegar a casa y ver la alegría de nuestro hijo, decidí que era un buen momento para preparar una comida especial. Mientras cocinaba el pollo, mi esposo y yo conversamos sobre nuestros planes para la semana. Nos encanta pasar tiempo en familia, no los cambio por nada.
En ocasiones puede ser un desafío equilibrar el trabajo y la vida familiar para mi, pero momentos como estos, en los que todos estamos juntos y felices, hacen que todo valga la pena.
Finalmente, la cena estuvo lista y nos sentamos a la mesa. Nuestro hijo estaba encantado con el pollo y no paraba de decir lo delicioso que estaba. Fue el cierre perfecto para un día productivo y lleno de pequeñas alegrías.
