A Golden Afternoon In The Binhe Forest park, Shunyi, Beijing

in #hive-16377211 days ago

Greetings my dear travelers in the Hive Universe!

After a lot of talking about the Huairou district of the Beijing Municipal, I have started exploring the surrounding districts as I have a lot of places to explore before I leave the city in the next two years. And I think there are very few people who will have such explicit visits tot the scenic areas of Beijing, especially the natural scenic areas. I have already visited a lot than many of my colleagues already as they love to enjoy going to some fancy restaurants but I love to visit some gems with natural beauty in the city and the surrounding areas. Last week, I visited the northern section of the Huairou and I found the scenic spots are closed or in the maintenance purpose of some of them. Also, the freezing cold and possible snow can make the mountains so dangerous for hiking that leads to many of them stop doing operations during the winter season.

But I have a lot of options here to make good use of the weekends and if the weekend is a sunny day, then no way to miss the opportunity as very often we get beautiful sunny days in winter in the Beijing Municipal area what I know from my 5 years living experience here. So, this week, my destination was the southern adjacent district 'Shunyi' where the Peking Capital International Airport is located. And I have selected the Binhe Forest Park which is located by the Chaobai River and almost a completely eastern direction from the airport location. Also, I have selected it because I can have public transport from this area after evening as the buses from the Beijing city center cross through the Shunyi district to go to the northern districts like Huairou and Miyun.

I was quite late the previous night, so I set for the location around 1 pm after my launch and it takes around 2 hours to arrive at the spot. I needed to change buses twice as I chose public transport to save a penny as the 40 km taxi drive could cost me around 100-150 RMB and I have paid around 6 RMB by bus! I really enjoy the public transport here for traveling some long distances and also in the mountains like there is a bus route from my living area towards the northern mountains that will take you around 80 km north with a cost of around 10 RMB!

When I got down from the bus, a golden world welcomed me there with a different beauty that I had not experienced yet in any winter I explored different places. You can feel the golden world and its appearances with my shots, all of these are unedited as I love the color theme so I want to keep it as it was. Even the black road has taken the golden vibes that day which is amazing.

The trees, branches, sunlight, and ground, except the blue sky everything has taken a golden color with the natural phenomenon of the sun rays that afternoon. It was a great start of my day there just before entering into the forest park.

The park area was completely silent but when I entered the entry gate area I saw a lot of cars in the parking area and saw a lot of people entering and coming out from the park. The park area was relatively busy at the entrance but all the people disappeared when I entered deep into the forest park as the park is excessively larger than you can think in a city area where it is located.

The tall trees without leaves welcome me again with the righting golden color at the top area while the bottom area does not glow like the top with the sun rays on the top areas of the long trees. You can feel the difference in the photos, and how nature can draw art; I was really amazed by the views of the surroundings.

The deeper the area I entered the more silence became with only sounds from some birds and my steps. I saw many people running, walking, and enjoying the surroundings as their afternoon walk on the weekends. many families were also there. I was missing my bicycle as there was a separate cycling track beside the running track all around the park as the park is too large to afford such activities.

I found some wildflowers there that also looked like has taken a faded golden appearance and I had to take some shots there as winter is very difficult for flowers or leaves to grow in the harsh winter. The afternoon was really a great on e as a winter afternoon experience in that golden universe. I wish to be here again in the coming spring to explore the green lashes here!

I hope you like my photos of the beauty of this golden world with the beautiful nature with brown forestry area and blue sky. It was an amazing experience to have experience with the winter nature in the Shunyi district, to discover different natural beauty, and to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a good day!

All the photos have been taken by me, and these are my own property.

Dear @tanzil2024 !

I am amazed by the mystery of how all plants fall asleep in death during the winter and then awaken again in the spring.
I wonder why you like the cold winter in China! How is the winter in Bangladesh different from the winter in China?

It is a mystery. I didn't say I like cold winters, but I like to explore the winter beauty! Even I don't like hot either, I love autumn with slightly cold-slightly hot and Spring with slightly cold-slightly hot. I think most people are the same, extreme cold and extreme heat are never comfortable for human beings.
