Greetings my dear friends of the Hive Universe!
For those who enjoy outdoor activities like me and want to spend some time in a good atmosphere and also want to escape from the bustling life of professional stress or busy life in megacities like Beijing, Huairou is a tranquil living place where I live. Living here in the middle of nature makes me very happy with the surrounding calm environment and natural scenic beauty. Every time I go outside of my dormitory for some outdoor activities, I get thrilled with the excellent city plans with most of the facilities in such a distant place in nature.
Also, the future planning of the city by decreasing the air pollution by massive deforestation and demolishing many old industries surrounding this area is truly motivating. Now the seasons have changed, and I am observing the surrounding scenarios with a completely different look. It gave me much thrilling experience to explore how the shifting fall colors are altering the landscape in this location because of the contrast between the vivid greens of summer and the colors of fall that are abundant here and there in this region.
This weekend I had the same plan to go for a riding session in spite of the colder environment in the northern part of Beijing. But unfortunately, I could not make the ride longer due to the adverse weather with cold wind. But luckily, I got a clear sky and the surroundings were amazing to explore in this cold area. However, the morning was not so faded with the smoky and foggy environment but the later sky became so blue that very few days it can be seen that the sky is so blue during this winter eve.
In my short cycling session, I visited the Yangsong town in the Huairou district which is the China Film and Television Base. It is planned to be built in the northern suburbs of Beijing to develop their entertainment sectors. The authority is working on advancing the building of already-existing areas, enhancing municipal services and other auxiliary services, expanding the film industry, and bolstering ecological governance.
The location of the town is not so far from my institute's location, and so I wanted to visit the film city in this town but which is currently closed due to the construction works I think. I have seen no people in this area as a tourist spot except for some beautiful roads where the beauty of fall is just in its best view.
It was not so comfortable to stay outside for a longer time during this time as the dryness was higher and I was not feeling so good for longer cycling sessions. So, after around 2 hours I came back to my institute but the views of the surrounding beauty of the town gave me some amazing scenic views to make my memories.
