Counting Evening Stars!

in #hive-16886920 days ago

After a long time, I had an evening walk to the nearest town area to purchase some food. After I finished my annual summary report on Saturday evening, I went to the canteen but found some dishes that I didn't like and some with pork meat, as a Muslim I could not have dinner there. So, I just planned to buy some chicken from the supershop and cook special Bangladeshi food, chicken biriyani. Though I am not an expert on it I want to give it a try as previously it was not good, and today it was my third attempt. Luckily it improved a lot, I can say dramatically, as it is the best biriyani that I have ever prepared.

So, I started walking towards the nearby town, Beifang, from the canteen directly. As the winter is now fully dominating this area, the temperature was around -6 degrees during the time around 6 pm when I started walking towards the town area. I have found that the outside is completely dark already, as the sun sets around 4:50 on current days. But the street light doesn't make the scene attractive, which I found later on my way where no street lamps are available.

The path becomes darker, and the darkness brings some astonishing views that I miss my childhood throughout my varsity life from 2012 as then I am living in the city area. I can't see so many stars here due to the abundance of city lights and the weather in city areas are not clear enough for the industries and air pollution from vehicles.

The darkness really welcomed me with so many stars that I barely saw them while I had been living here for many years. The only thing that I missed was the moon, though. The bright moon makes many stars hide with its relatively stronger rays compared to the stars' blinking rays. And in the photos you can clearly see there are so many stars in the sky. Though I explored many more starts in the sky in my Childhood in the village but I am still happy to revive some of the memories of counting stars.

The scene became best when I was crossing the river, which is a dried river now, and it made the path half. I prefer this route for exploring nature with close looks also. I have tried to get some shots with my mobile phone, but the limitation in the phone camera was not so great as you can see in my pictures. Also, the biting and freezing cold was a trouble to get some amazing night shots, which made the photos worse, so I prefer the normal set-up that is much closer to the real scene.

You can see the bright white dots in my photos are the stars, and you can guess how it was in the naked eye as the camera is incapable of shooting such stunning views of the sky. Finally, I came back after my shopping around 7:30 pm and started cooking my biriyani It took around 3.5 hours for me to do the process and and enjoyed the meal around 11:30 pm. And when I get in bed for a rest, I feel as sleep, keeping my unfinished post that I am writing now! As I always write my post from 12 am to 2 am sleep from 2 am to 8:20 am, and go to my lab around 8:45 am!

The biriyani that I have cooked myself!

I hope you like my photos of the blinking stars in the sky and amazing surroundings to enjoy the weekend eve. It was an amazing experience to experience the winter nature in Huairou, to discover different natural beauty, and to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great holiday!
