Greeting my dear beloved Splinterverse mate.
I hope you are enjoying Splinterlands with new cards and new strategies as we are having so many new cards, new abilities, and new rulesets battles in the Splinterlands in the current times. I am also revealing new battle strategies and so many new cards from the opposition that I have not faced earlier I also don't have many new cards as I have invested a lot in the Rebellion set a lot and most cards are from the Chaos legion set.
But it is time to change the strategies based on only Chaos sets as many cards from the new rebellion sets are so powerful in the modern and even in the wild format of the battle. If you are unable to invest a lot for the core rebellion set, then you can start with the rebellion reward card set where you can find a lot of extra powerful cards that are free of charge just you need to play more to earn more Glint tokens and buy these solid cards from the glint shop.
Today, I am going to talk about such great cards from the Epic card list from the new Rebellion reward cards set as my participation in #SplinterlandsCardStrategy. This card is the neutral card 'Halfling Refugee'. The mana cost of this card is only 1 and it can be used with any splinter team as it is a neutral card. It is a kind of card that can replace a lot of currently existing cards for the low MANA battles.
At level 1, this card has 6 health, 2 MELEE attacks with a speed of 3 which is tremendously better than many 3 MANA cards in old card sets. At level 2, the number of MELEE attacks increased to 3 which is really a giant with the least number of MANA costs.
The card has also two amazing abilities, the first ability is bestowed from level 1 which is 'WEARY'. The 2nd ability is a great ability of 'HEAL' which is also very important for any battle.
The healing ability activates at level 3 and the number of health increased to 7 at the card level of 4.
At the card level 5, the MELEE attacks increase to 4 and the number of health also increases to 8. I think at this level this card becomes a solid card for your battle with all the stats at the peak with the least MANA cost that you can not get from any other cards in the game.
So, how efficient the card is? This card is amazing but obtaining a higher level card is not so easy for me as a smaller player as it needs 7500 GLINT tokens for a pulling of the EPIC cards. And, I have not been playing regularly for a long period earlier. Also, recently I have focused on the common cards first to level up.
But the amazing ability and stats make me buy at least a single copy of these epic cards, but still, I have not gotten all the cards from the epic list. But I have pulled two copies of 'Halfling Refugee'. So, I get the opportunity to use it in the battle also. I have replaced some small MANA cards by using this card and got an amazing performance from the card.
Also, the rebellion card sets will be more long-lasting if you play the modern format, so this card is really important. After the deduction of the Chaos set, the rebellion card set will be long-lasting up to the next edition. So, it is time to have such a great card in the deck.
However, in recent times, I have had very few battles with lower MANA ranges less than 15 or 20 in my current experience. So, it is hard to find a lot of battles to use this card in the battle as you can not use this card with high MANA matches.
Actually, the large number of health and melee attacks helps the team to win the match most of the time. So, this card is amazing to have in the battle.
For, example look at this battle which is a 12 MANA match. I have used a lot of low MANA cards. though the opponent team has the first attacker with the healing ability I have won the match very easily.
The battle becomes very flexible though the summoner's level are the same. I have lost only my first attacker but if my 'Halfling Refugee' was more than level 3, then all of my cards could be alive except the 'Celestial Harpy' as it will die due to the thorns' rulesets.

The second battle in which I used this amazing card was also a low MANA battle where I won very easily as the opponent team had a very low-level summoner and the cards the opponent used were also very low-level.
An interesting fact is that both of us used the same front attacker, the amazing Epic Rebellion reward card 'Halfling Refugee'. But my other cards were very powerful compared to the opponent team, so within a short time I won the match very fast.

Though I have not gotten the opportunity to test the real capability of the 'Halfling Refugee' in extreme conditions to have extensive experience with this card. this card is really a gem for any battle strategy in any LOW mana matches. I would love to level the card more.
