The Covenant of Phoenix Flame and Shadow

Greetings, my Splinter friends!

I hope you all are doing great with the game. Today, I am going to extend my lore as part of the community engagement challenge. For my entry, I am going to introduce my lore on the Kha'zi Conjurer, which is from the fire splinter and rebellion reward card. It is an epic card with an amazing number of ranged attacks, a small MANA cost of 2, and some amazing abilities, such as the incendiary and piercing, to make your team stronger in low MANA matches.

It was always very hard for the Conjurer to live in the Great Lowlands after the invasion of the Chaos Legioniers. The conjurer groups were fighting a cruel battle to stay alive between the deep forest of the Endless Valley and the war-torn Chaos Plains. Kha’zi Lythan was their boss at that time. He was brave and determined, and rebellion monsters admired how good he was with a bow and how wise he was as a leader. However, as the Chaos Legion groups became more dominant, attacked their lands, and stole their few resources, his people became desperate.

Kha’zi Lythan chose to go deep into the strange forest of the Endless Valley on one of those days when things were really bad after the massive collision with Chaos. Legends say that strange animals and powerful forces lived in the woods and had not been explored for a long time. Few tribes who went there never returned, so no one dared to go there. But the Conjurer groups were brave enough, especially their leader, who was willing to take a chance on the unknown because he thought that something in the valley could change what would happen to his people.

At dawn, Kha’zi Lythan went into the valley alone, armed only with his bow, his thoughts, and his unwavering determination to beat the Chaos. At first, the sun's rays made the woods look golden and green, but as he went deeper, it got darker. The sky was hidden by trees that stood like unsettling silence around him. Suddenly, he encounters something strange shadow. He first thought it was just the sound of wind, and the air seemed to get thicker. The shadows in the bushes moved strangely and spoke in a dark language he couldn't initially understand. Lythan had gotten lost from his planned way before he knew it. He was caught by something or someone using black magic on him, which made him lose in the jungle.

Lythan kept going even though he was lost, driven by his senses. As the hours went by, he was getting more and more tired. Just as he thought hope was fading, he heard a weak, sad cry from a close stony area. He followed the sound until he came to an area lit by the full moonlit night. He found a strange bird that he had never seen that kind of bird before. It was stuck under a pile of sharp rocks, and Lythan saved the bird as a lifesaver. Its feathers were a mesmerizing mix of red and gold that looked like the flames of a dying fire. When Kha’zi Lythan got close, the bird turned its head to look at him and showed its gratitude towards Lythan.

When Lythan freed the bird, it rose slowly, its fire wings flashing slowly and becoming a strong flame very soon. Then, the bird introduced itself as a Phoenix. Legends told Lythan about phoenixes, birds of fire that live forever and carry power older than time itself. It was something he had never thought he would see in his life. The lonely phoenix took Lythan to their castle inside a mountain that was like a volcanic mountain. When Lythan enters the hill, he meets the queen of the Phoenix tribe, who shows gratitude for saving their tribe member.

Both leaders talked about their lives there and the problems among them, and they felt something more beyond the introduction of these two tribes in the jungle that was full of danger. The Phoenix queen told the Conjurer leader that they were facing troubles from the nearby giants dragging the surrounding mountains, which was a potential danger for the Phoenix castle. As the Conjurers were so good in the ranged attacks, they could down those giants for the sake of the Phoenix, and the Phoenix queen offered the conjurers to help them find the resources around the forest faster than they could do themselves. Thus, Phoenix offered Lythan their services as a covenant among these two tribes in the jungle.

As Khazi Lythan was convinced that the Greta covenant among them would make both stronger, the strong flame of Phonix is always a risky management with potential risk. But the Conjurers are brave enough as they are already in great collision with the Chaos, and Lythan accepts the offer. From then on, they are closely friendly tribes in the Great Lowlands.
