After yesterdays Mono lets have some color
Today I will share a few shots from a walk I took a while back early morning on the Mattapoisett Rail trail.
Some walks live on in our memories for a variety of reasons, some for who we may be walking with, althought that not often for me as I go out early morning and on my own for most if not all of my walks.
Some for a special experience, some for mother nature putting on an amazing display, or a mitlitude of other good reasons why they live on in our memories.
And some, Well lets get into that after a photo, the rail trail is a beautiful walkway and I enjoy walking there, this spot is probably my favorite view point along the trail.

OK why does this walk remain vivid in my memory
As I do most mornings I chekc the weather forecast to see if its worth going out for a walk, well by worth I mean warm enough and not rainy or strong gusting winds and according tot he forecast that day was a good day
I decided to head to the rail trail which is aboiut a 20 Minute drive from home so not to far, I headed out well before sunrise to get some blue hour shots and light painting in before the sunrise.
As driving there it started to rain, but i remained poitive it would be a short shower and pass, which it did thankfully, but it was quite foggy and misty when I got there, so much so I had to wipe the lens and it was steamingup and gettign misty very quickly, but I kept on

As I said I wanted to do soem light painting, for that I use the remote for my camera so I can get set up, start a shot in bulb mode swing my light sticks around and then use the remote to stop the shot again.
But that wasnt meant to be, the batteyr in my remote died on me, so that ending up my plan for light painting that morning, and also I use the remote when taking long exposures at sunrise to limit the chance of camera movement when clicking the shutter button, but I can take them using the shutter and I was enjoying he fresh or misty weather so keep on going

And got my last shot of this view point before headign back to my car, as I got slose to the car park, I head some teenagers laughing and as the car park came into view I saw them by my car and then quickly riding off
I thought nothing of it till I got to my car and noticed two tires were flat, after cursing the kids in my head, I remembered I had a tire pump thingy in the car, so got that out and pumped up the tires, fortunatly they had not done any damge to them, must have just used something to let the air out of the valve,
so all in all a memoriable walk but still a good one, any walk is a good one in my mind ;)
