East Beach
Good Morning
Today I will share a few shots from a visit to East beach here in New Bedford MA, these shots are from last year, I had been parked at Fort Tabor, at the carpark near the fort which you can see in the distance in the background. often back in 2023 when I took these I would catch the sunrise and walk around the fort and sometimes head out to East beach to get my step count in.
I still have photos from 2024 to edit and share but I was wondering with me having taken over a two month break in midd summer, due tot he surgery and recovery, would have enough photos to keep me going and posting through winter when I do not get out for many walks.
I hence looked through my photos from last year and am glad to find there are many photos from then they have not edited, some even i imported off the camera and not sure I ever got around to reviewing, probably because i was getting out for so many walks this year.
When I came across these ones it came to mind I think I may have only walked out to and on East beach once this year, I think perhaps because I was having fun playing around with light painting and heading out even earlier than normal as light painting is best done while it is still really dark, after the light painting I would head to the beach in Fort Tabor to catch the sunrise, and then call it quits, as until recently I was going easy on pushing myself to get too many steps in.
Well after that long winded into lets get to the photos
As you can see from this firts shot its a fairly wide and logn beach and is a popular spot for sun bathing and swimming in the peak of summer
