Funwhole Book cafe photos and thoughts
As I mentioned in a previous post I have been keeping myself busy and my mind occupied by building some kit houses and such recently and I thought i would start a series of Funwhole Friday posts
Funwhole you may think is a weird name and I do agree with you they could have come up with a better name, but thats about my biggest critique of them so far.
The first set I built was the carpentry van, which I did a post on here and the second build was this one I am sharing photos of today the Book Cafe
And yes I have also done a post on the Record Store as I had an accident buildign the book Cafe and dropped a section and I think a couple of the bricks feel into our Air conditioning/heatign vents, the company weas greta when I told them I had lost a couple of pieces they shipped them out at no cost, great customer service, received the bits a couple of days ago and finished the build.
Now as you can guess from the photos and previous posts Funwhole is a competitor to Lego which of course is the big name in this field, but when I saw a post about funwhole and did some research, with the more resonable prices and the fact they come with lights I decided to give them ago and my experience thus farw ith them is greta the quality of the packaging, the pieces and the instructions to me seems top notch
and here is the Book Cafe

I turned off all the lights in my little photo studio in the basement for the first couple of shots to let the lights shine out.
In th emanuals for this one and I think the others as well, they have an inspiration story, here is the one for the book Cafe
*Cafe Librarie Brise, a book Cafe in a small town inthe south of France, is now owned by Elsa who inherited it fromher parents, Pierre and Julia.
The couple forst met at the Cafe and their inspiriring converstaions fueled Pierres succesful writing career, allowing him to purchase the cafe with his royalities.
This charming spot has become a cherised hub for literature enthusiasts to meet, shat and enjoy coffee.
Elsa who spends her spare time reading and writing, continues to nuture her own literary passions.
One day a visiting publisher noticed Pierres books on display and, after chatting with Else developed a keen interest in her writing as well*
Now i dont know if other brick bands incluse inspiration stories but I thought this weas a nice touch
