Mattapoisett Town Beach
Good Morning and have a great day
This morning I will share a few shots of a visit I took to Mattapoisett Town Beach recently
It was a spur of the moment decision to head to this beach that day, I had initialy been planning to go to Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven, i got there early about 5:30 AM when the gates ot the car park are still locked ( they open them around 6AM) and often I would park on the road outside the park, but there were a few cars parked all over the road and a bunch of people on the road and into the park, yelling and screaming, probably just having fun, but I id not have a good feeling so quickly drove off and ended up in Mattapoisett and decided to stop by the town beach

NOw its a small beach and not a great spot to get a lot of steps in, but still a nice spot to catch the morning colors, and you probably know when I see a lifeguard tower I have to get at least one shot of it :)
I may have said this before but I'm not sure, but it cracks me up that have to put a sign up saying "lifeguard off duty" if the tower is empty or no lifeguard standing by the tower isnt that perhaps obvious

here i had walked out on a pier beside the beach a few boats anchored in the water and the line in the water, not 100% sure what its purpose is, perhaps to mark the area for swimmers at the beach and to let boats to know not to come in
