mono monday from recent walks
Good Morning I hope your week is starting well, as I tend to do on MOndays I am starting the week with a few mono images, these are from recent walks i have taken in different spots.
Starting at the port a couple of the commercial fishing boats, the George Banks and I forget the name of the boat behind it at the moment
I do love doing mono edits of shots at thre port, I'm not sure why perhaps to add a timeless feel, ewell not so much that as I fele that is apt for most mono images,
perhaps its because in color one focuses onthe colors of the boat or the sky and the details of the ships masts and rigging is less apparent

this is also at the port, but i guess that is obvious LOL
at the end of one of the piers is this structure, sort of like a tempoary pier where a few more ships are docked

and speaking of piers, this is the one by the boat ramp where i often got for morning walks, in fact I was there this morning catching the sunrise i liked how the shadows on the pier stood out more on the mono edit

The same pier from another angle, it was a fairly dull day when I took this and in color this shot did not appeal to me, but I decided to see what it looked like in color and I am happy with it

and now to finish off the post standing on the pier and looking towards the hurricane barrier wall
