Mono Monday lets look at trees

Good Morning another weekend has flown on by and the work week begins, well to be honets not for me being retired, but i do have a couple of Drs appointments coming up including a Colonoscopy this morning, well that was the plan but the called and the Dr wasnt available so thats put off till April now

As is my habit on Mondays I am sharing a few Mono images, and for this week I decided to go with the theme of trees

STarting with this shot in Buttonwood Park, mostly mono but with a splash of color keeping the yellow lines surrounded like a tunnel by trees

Next up perhaps for some a bit dark and Moody in the Oak Groove cemetery, I find I like to edit a lot of shots I take in Cemeteries in MOno gives a sort of timeless feel

and still in the cemetery, I do love trees when they are full of leaves and so greem, but they still look pretty cool when bare in winter and you get to see all the twists and turns of the limbs and branches

And back in Buttonwood Park, often when I visit there i park near the Warming house/senios centre and then I will walk along this path to the other sid eof the pond

And this one perhaps the focus is more onthe building but it is surrounded by trees, this is inthe Haskell Public Gardens

And to finish off a shot in the Historic District idowntown here in New Bedford, I do find shots witholder buildings and cobblestone streets i do like to try in MOno

Good morning dear friend @tattoodjay have a happy start to the week

I'm very sorry that the medical appointment has been changed to the month of April

I love your monochromatic shots, the city is beautiful, and the cemetery has a special charm

Have a beautiful day

Thanks and no problem with the test being postponed it should not be an issue

Thank you friend

Greetings my friend!. Whenever I coincide with your photographs it brightens my days. They are excellent images, especially the one of the cemetery. In my area it is not as common to see as many bare trees as it is in the winter in the north, but without a doubt they are one of my favorite landscapes. In Mono it acquires a feeling full of melancholy, it's impressive...

I hope you will be able to manage this period until April in the best way, it seems to me a long time. I wish you good health and good disposition to life. Hugs!!!

thanks so much and its no problem with the test beign delayed would have been good to get it out of the way, but waiting a couple of months is no big deal

I hope you didn't do all the prep for the colonoscopy before you found out the doctor wouldn't make it in... That would suck!

Beautiful shots, monochrome on historic cemeteries fit so well. I like visiting them, although I know others are very put off by the thought of them. Mortality is universal, best get used to it! lol

That last shot just makes it look like a shot from the 1930's, nice!

LOL no fortunatly I had not done the prep that would have been horrible

but that said the prep I have to do now isnt so bad, with most of my colon gone I dont have to drink as much or take any laxative other than Miralax
I to like visiting cemeteries, and we live right next to a cemetery see it off our back yard, doesnt bother us but i have one friend who will never visit us as that freaks him out

I like that selective edit with the yellow lines 👍 I also like the small brick building near the end. Nice repreive until April 😉

Thanks for the feedback
and yes a good repreive :)

These are some incredible shots you have there! Really love the edits you've done!
