A couple days ago I achieved a milestone here on the blockchain. I completely missed it and likely wouldn't have noticed it until who knows when. I was lucky that @silversaver888 did notice it, thank you once again! I have been on Hive for three whole years now! I haven't been blogging that long, the first year and a half I was playing Splinterlands which is how I arrived here. Now things are completely opposite, I don't play Splinterlands all that much anymore and I blog most every day. I enjoy it more this way as the blogging has become more fun than playing.
It's kind of ironic that I first started blogging not because I really wanted to, but as a way to earn some extra money to invest into Splinterlands. That way I would not have to import any of my funds to keep progressing in the game. At first I tried blogging about my gameplay but quickly learned there were just too many people already doing that already. That changed my tactics, I started to reach out and explore communities. I quickly began to share with the Silver Gold Stackers because it's been a life long hobby of mine already. Nowadays I kind of share what I want and participate in a few weekly events. It's a lot of fun!
I want to say thanks to all of you who have supported me along the way, it's been a fun journey!
This post really would be way too short if I called it a day right here, so I want to share something that popped up online today, the World Cassowary Day.

These large flightless birds are native to New Guinea and a part of northern Australia. Although they may seem pretty they are in fact the world's most dangerous bird. They mainly eat fruit but also will hunt small animals for protein. They are relatively tall much like an emu at 1.5 to 1.8 m (4 ft 11 in to 5 ft 11 in) and weighing in at 58.5 kg (130 lb). They have three toes on each foot with sharp claws, the innermost having a long dagger like claw that can be up to 5 inches (125 mm) in length. They tend to live deep in jungles and avoid interaction with humans, usually hiding before they are spotted.

A cassowary attack
They tend to be very aggressive when pursued and use their long, sharp talons to cut the victims. Most human attacks have been people either feeding the birds or raising them in captivity. The most recent fatality was a man from Florida, US that raised the bird from a chick. One day the bird attacked him and he fell down and was clawed to death. Talk about a bad way to go...
I didn't know much about the cassowary until I looked it up this morning seeing that it was World Cassowary Day. The things you learn from random things online, so Happy World Cassowary Day to everyone as well!
I hope you all have a great Thursday, it's almost the weekend! Thanks for taking the time to check out my post. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions below. Thank you everyone for all of your support, it really means a lot to me. Stay safe everyone and far away from cassowaries!
