Wanting to do quests does not want to work out
Heading out the same way again with a slight detour to explore around a bit, where the stupid bugs were, some Forged members could be found and they were not friendly at all.
This fight was only a short one after the shooting began, one of them had thrown a molotov at Arghrash with a great hit, exploding in front of him and along with the bullets that had hit, it was over very quickly.
"Guess I will head back in the general direction I was going before, maybe off to the other side" he thought to himself while moving out again.
This time he found a Legendary Rabid Ragstag in the distance and got close.. he placed a mine before going into V.A.T.S to get good shots off, then moving back as it charged his way, right into the mine that was placed. This was plenty to just destroy the Ragstag and getting a nice, Exterminator's Automatic Institute Pistol that will come in handy for those pesky bugs!
In the distance a faint buzzing could be heard and Arghrash just knew.. it was those Stingwing bugs that need to be dealt with. With the laser out and luring one with a longer shot, it came closer and was easy to deal with on its own.
After defeating a second Stingwing it was the same strategy to lure another to its death and thanks to this second one, gaining another level up which just left the final Stingwing. Same strategy yet again and the laser damage was really too strong for any of them to even get him.
With a new level up achieved this was going to be a big one because of the perk to be unlocked now which is, the Strong Back perk to gain another 25 to carry weight. Less of a nuisance trying to carry around all that loot from his explorations and adventures, less strain on Arghrash's back as well.
"Now I took those bugs out and have this new legendary weapon, I should play it safe before coming back this way. Yes, I will go have a nap and be safe" said a determined Arghrash as he head back to the radio tower site.
Before he got back to the site, some dead ghouls were lying around on the ground. One of them was the Glowing One which had a bit of loot to quickly grab off the body, once grabbed he kept running until he made it back through fog that had increased in density, proceeding to have a nice and relaxing nap.
Back into the field in an attempt to go for those Forged members in case their carried items and gear would be excellent to take.. they were including a Pyro with a Flamer that was marching to him with purpose.
Molotovs kept being thrown at Arghrash as he kept shooting while back stepping and having to quickly turn to run a short distance to get some space to focus on the tougher Pyro.
It was a good strategy to isolate the strongest for a quick burst of damage on them. "Die you scum and you will give me your gear!" he shouted to the Pyro, after throwing a molotv and spraying a lot of bullets until he died.
Of course with the Pyro down it was dealing with the two Forged now and one was easy enough, with long range shooting from cover to keep them from hurting him. When the next one got close and they were fighting among the cars on the road, well some molotovs and flamer fire was going to make this turn into a massive explosion festival of car fireworks!
"Ouch now that was close to killing me if I didn't act quickly and move away" said a partly hurt Arghrash after using a stimpak. He got back in there to try finish off the other Forged member but the flamer fuel and another car exploding was enough to take both of them out.
A few more attempts were to be made on the group with the first two ending in a quicker, painful death.. the next one saw chems used before shooting the laser with accuracy and a lot of damage quickly, on the Pyo and then first taking out the first Forged member.
After which the final one was able to be taken out and another death was avoided here. Staying a bit further away and not near those damn cars, that was a smart play that was for sure.
"Alright I did it! Now.. let me grab and carry the victory loot away. I see some Hellfire armour pieces which I will store at base and there is a flamer along with fuel" he mumbled to himself as he looted the bodies. There were other flamers on the Forged so he had to use buffout to strengthen up and carry the gear back to base.
What he didn't know about claiming this Hellfire armour is that at a point soon enough, some others were going to want that as they didn't want it falling into the wrong hands.
