Druadach Redoubt time
"Let me see now, what should I be disenchanting. Ah yes I could do with knowing how to enchant more items with extra magicka and magicka regen" thought Orcanorc as he proceeded to disenchant his apprentice hood and hooded black mage robes while forgetting he needed those.
At least he had now learned their effects, proceeding to then disenchant the apprentice robes of restoration for its effects and gaining another Enchanting level and also hitting level ten himself.
After finishing up preparations in this place and seeing how close he was to the Druadach Redoubt, Orcanorc went for a quick run after level his stamina up to increase it along with the carry weight. He reached his destination to immediately be attacked by the camping Forsworn who were no doubt, waiting for people to come so they could kill and loot them.
Luckily he was easy to kill and execute which opened up the path to the cave where the quest had been leading him, all this time.
"Sneaky sneaky gets the kills, saves on injuries done to me."
Orcanorc crept up on the first Forsworn that was chopping wood and oblivious to his advance. Next thing she knew was it was all black after she had been swiftly killed. This was followed up on by another sneak attack on a sleeping Forsworn Forager who was suddenly startled awake by some sharp pains, only to be finished off soon after he got out of bed.
These types of rare chances when enemies are sleeping proof very effective and make progressing to be so much smoother.. if only it could be capitalised upon.
"I will get you back for taking killing my friends" could be heard a slight bit into the distance before a barrage of fire was heading his way. The constant burning while being unaware of the initial location it came from, proved to be fatal as he turned to finally find the enemy burning him, only to soon after lose the rest of his health.
Upon his next attempt at the cave and after clearing the first Forsworn enemies again, he found out the it was actually a Briarheart doing that strong, fire damage and these guys have always been a pain to deal with.
It was going to finally go Orcanorc's way as he kept went right in up close to that damn Briarheart, along with Vorstag's previous blows to him and the Flame Atronach doing fire damage. This stopped the Briarheart from getting flame damage piling up but instead, having to resort to melee range weapons and this was a fight he just could not win!
"Hey Orcanorc, looks like some nice ore veins over there by that wall" claimed Vorstag as they head over to it.
He proceeded to mine the Quicksilver Ore which would be valuable to hold onto for smithing valuable items, an Amethyst was also found that can be used for jewelry if not sold. Luckily there was also a second vein to be mined here which makes this quest even more worth the trip.
Add in what was found in the chest nearby which doesn't seem like heaps, but getting a helmet of Night Eye to allow seeing in the dark and making it easier to battle, well this could be disenchanted and used to enchant another item to keep that effect, should Orcanorc decide to use another helmet.
"We will be staying hear a little longer, Vorstag. Just found some Steel Ingots on this blacksmithing station and I am going to make a couple of items while I am here and this is available" he announced as Vorstag was milling some grain to take along with some food in the crates nearby.
The items that he decided to smith this time and to make use of previous smelting.. it was a silver Amethyst Ring and also a Gold Necklace, both worth a nice bit of gold when you factor in the reduced buy price of trading the item.
And the last thing before resting in one of the beds here and heading out to return Lisbet's shipment that they were here for, was to take this Iron Dagger of Fire Vulnerability suddenly found on the table by the chest holding the shipment, then opening and finding out it was a Dibella Statue that she was missing, something more valuable to Lisbet.
