This is a post that I make on #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
I wish to say hello to the members of the Wednesday Walk community, and fellow Hivers, in general.
How are you doing?
I think that a photo I took of a local creek is a nice way to start this article.
This creek is rightly described by locals as the “green lung” of the city.
Its rich vegetation consists of tall trees that change with the seasons.
While walking by the creek, I’ve seen black squirrels climbing on those trees a couple of times, in their effort to find some food.
I took this photo from a bridge that goes over the creek.
While crossing the bridge, I also noticed that a red and green plant had climbed on the wall and covered a big part of it.
I think that its colors are a great match with the colors of the graffiti right behind it, although natural colors are much better than any artificial color.
Look at this nice tree in its full glory!
It is breathtaking, isn't it?
Such a beautiful, strong, and healthy tree makes you believe that there is still hope in life.
Just stopping for a moment to look at it and admire it can really make your mood.
I’ve always wanted to capture the beauty of the nearby hills, which are covered with low bushes and shrubs.
No tall trees here, but the low green vegetation is a nice sight, too, I think.
Oh, and you can also see a big fig tree in the front, as a bonus.
