I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I was going to make an attempt at fixing the generator (that powers our solar electrical system, and charges the batteries, when there is not sufficient sun), since it had stopped working again, and while I had done this procedure (cleaning the carburetor) successfully before, I was sadly not so fortunate yesterday, so the batteries crashed again in the early morning hours. Although it has been cloudy and rainy for days straight now, there was enough light to get the solar electrical system up and running again, which allowed me to get some important Hive stuff done (like formatting my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update post), and to get my Qortal node up and running again. I usually format my Goals and Progress Update post on my laptop, and then write it on my phone, and with the power coming back on a little later than I would have liked, I was somewhat behind schedule.
As soon as I wrote and published My 126th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Exceeded, and 1UP Cartel Reallocation, and did a few other quick Hive tasks, I went to milk the cow with Jo(hanna). She knows that I can't always help on Mondays, as I generally have too much to do, but thankfully the timing worked out this morning. As soon as I was done milking, I headed to the Landing to make my superfood fire coffee, and then back to the Flow House, to write this post. The batteries had enough of a charge, even with the lack of sun, to run the blender for my green fire elixir, for which I was super grateful.
The Qortal network had another major attack yesterday that basically stalled the whole blockchain for about a day, but this morning the devs were able to get things moving again. They're also working on another new core version, to address some more of the recent issues. Since the Blockchain was stalled last night, it didn't particularlly matter that power went out, since I couldn't receive a payout anyway without being fully synced. Everything is running far better this morning, and I even received a pretty good payout, so that's one good thing. Now just to keep the electrical system from crashing tonight.
Ano is going to work on the generator again later today, after Harmony returns from town with a new gasket seal, and the other semi-nonfunctional generator is going to be taken in to be serviced, so that it can serve its job of being an effective backup. Between the charge controllers, the batteries, and the generators, our solar electrical system has certainly had its fair share of issues lately. I'm really hoping that we can get everything working optimally once again very soon.
These past few rainy days have been really quite busy for me, as well a tad crazy and wild to boot, but I've so far still been able to get most of what I need done, both here in this jungle community, and on Hive. I hope that continues. I'm really looking forward to some mellow, relaxing, and sunny days, where everything simply works as it should. May it be so.
I left the Flow House yesterday, Sunday, a bit later than usual, around 2:45PM, focusing only on the most essential tasks, getting cow food and doing my best to fix the generator. I didn't even get a chance to take any photos for these posts. That's why I always try to take 2-days worth of photos, to make up for the days when I can't take any, either due to weather or a full schedule. After my failed attempt at fixing the generator, I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and returned to the Flow House to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. The power held out the whole time that I was awake and working, which was excellent indeed. I paused Hive to go make Elohi some food, which did not take long, and I made my way back to the Flow House immediately afterward, to get back to Hive. I got everything on Hive done by just before 10:30PM, and after a bit more time engaging and posting on Waves and Ecency proper, I went to bed around 11:45PM. Unfortunately I didn't sleep well, waking up around 6:45AM, definitely feeling like more sleep was needed, doing a round of token management, writing and publishing my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update post, and then going to milk the cow. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's a very good time to end this post, so that I can get to my few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first focus on taking some more photos for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
