I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

One of the most essential practices that I've found in these exceedingly challenging times, both individually and collectively, is to keep a rock-solid and tenacious focus on what is most important, and what is most desired, while at the same time being able to adapt and flow with what comes. That's not easy, of course, but nothing of true value is. The challenges push and catalyze growth and development.
In my own life, living in this off-grid jungle community, I work with this practice to the best of my ability every day, and I have for years now. While things here and in my life are far from what I would call ideal, in many ways I have, over time, created a life that works for me, regardless of the things that I don't like, or that I'd like to change. While my life may look rather unimpressive to many people, that is of little concern to me, because what is important to me, and what I most desire, are quite different from the vast majority of people that I've met or known, and that's OK.
One of the many pernicious aspects of the slave matrix is that it is designed to always keep us in the rat race, on the hamster wheel, struggling to get our most basic needs met. That's one of the many reasons why it is necessary to extricate ourselves from this system, so that we are able to create a life that truly feels good and works for us. For all of GaiaYoga's failings, or my own for that matter, I can at least say that I live my life mostly outside this system.
Beacause I work with sovereignty-driven technologies, like Linux (Arch Linux here), Hive, Qortal, Bastyon, DeSo, among others, living off-grid in the jungle definitely presents a whole host of challenges that I need to navigate constantly. Between an extreme abundance of rain, moisture, and humidity, and a presently less-than-reliable solar electrical system, I've got my work cut out for me. Yesterday it became apparent to me that the hard drive on one of my Arch Linux installations was failing, which was quite a big inconvenience to say the lest. Luckily I have 3 separate Arch installations, and backups of each one, along with backup hard drives, so while this would have posed a serious problem to many people, I was able to flow with it fairly easily, and I hardly missed a beat.
No matter what obstacles appear in my path, my focus is always locked on what's important, what I most want, and what I need to do. Because I've lived in many different places, under very different conditions, and because I learn, adapt, and improvise quickly, I've always found a way to get what I need done, very thankfully. In the present hyper-transitional state of the world, this is a superpower, and one that I am incredibly grateful that I've learned and developed. Where there is a will, there is indeed a way.
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after completing my Hive tasks, around 1:30PM, putting my focus first on some photography for these posts, and for my entry in the Reflection Hunters Contest, thankfully getting a good batch of photos for both. Once I had gotten the photos that I needed, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, and with that done, I strained and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. Because of the above-mentioned hard-drive failure, and because I needed to get my Qortal minting node back online as soon as possible, I returned to the Flow House earlier than usual to handle that situation. As soon as I had another one of my other Arch installations booted up, and my Qortal node running and minting smoothly again, I started on my usual evening Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. I finished everything on Hive by around 10:30PM, and after some token management, and a few assorted OS tasks on my recently-booted Arch installation, I went to bed just a bit after 11:30PM. Sadly I did not sleep well again, waking up just before 8:30AM, still feeling like I needed more sleep, doing another round of token management, starting on this post, and catching up a bit more on my notifications, before getting out of bed just before 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk the cow with Jo(hanna). As soon as milking was done, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 11:15AM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first head to Tutu's to make Iolanthe some food, maybe take more photos for this post, and then go to the Kuti to give Harmony her session (it was originally supposed to be yesterday, but we re-scheduled it for today, as I had too much too do yesterday). 2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
