I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
My love for solid income tokens is no secret, and I've explored and been stacking many over the course of my time on Hive, from which I've derived great benefit. Income tokens, like any asset on Hive Engine, are only as solid as the projects that create and back them. Unfortunately many projects are far too haphazard and unstable for any asset that they offer to maintain value over time. That's why it is essential to know the people who run the projects well before investing in the assets of those projects, because the value of the assets into which we invest is based on them.
As I've experienced with COM, and now with DRIP, income tokens while great, are often not so dependable and reliable over time, which makes it challenging to fit them into a larger system of income generation, which is exactly what I've been doing here on Hive over the past 3.25 years. To create a systems of passive-income generation, my Hive Multi-Stream Pasive-Income Machine, as I call it, the components that compose it must be consistent, dependable, and reliable. That's not easy on Hive with so many moving and shifting parts, but I've had quite a lot of success with it, I just have to make notable periodic adjustments, reallocations, and reconfigurations, to keep things flowing well.
Because I dive into exploring many different means of asset and income generation on Hive, I've gotten lots of firsthand experience with what works well, and what doesn't, over time. This is why I've come to love diesel/liquidity pools so much, as in my time of using them, I've found them to be generally a lot more stable and consistent over time than most income tokens. With my recent experiences with DRIP, I've decided to reallocate a good part of what I have invested into DRIP, into various high-performing diesel/liquidity pools with high SWAP.HIVE payouts.
The pools in which I have assets that presently provide the highest SWAP.HIVE rewards are SWAP.HIVE:PWR, DVS:DHEDGE, and SWAP.HIVE:STARBITS, and I'm in the process of exploring several others as well. Because most pools that offer rewards do so in various tokens, rewards from one can be used to add liquidity to another, thus further growing asset generation.
In the short term, I'm determined to bring my daily SWAP.HIVE income back to where it was before DRIP was abruptly changed, and even to surpass it, hence my much stronger focus on various diesel/liquidity pools. I know that this will provide many more benefits than just creating a good daily SWAP.HIVE flow, which is why I'm excited about this new focus, as it may indeed be a game-changer.
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished my Hive tasks, around 1:30PM, putting my attention on some photography for these posts, and then some sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn, which was simply lovely. After my fill of sun, I collected a wheelbarrow full of some mostly-decomposed mulch, and I replanted a young cacao tree that wild pigs had mostly dug up. When I had that done, I returned to the Flow House for a short break, then I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food with Sol. With that done, I took a shower, stopped by the Landing to get my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee, and then made my way back to the Flow House, to dive into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had so many again that I wasn't able to get through them all before I had to stop to go to bed a little after 11PM, which I did soon after doing some quick token management. I didn't sleep so well again, waking up around 7:30AM, doing more token management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed just a little after 8AM to go collect another jar of superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then to go milk Daisy. Jo got back last night, so I milked with her again. After milking, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:15PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to take more photos for these posts, strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and the community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
