I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yesterday was quite a day, both in the more interesting and enjoyable direction, as well as in one that was not so pleasant at all. That's how things have been lately, with some going to new levels of amazing, and others going completely the opposite. I just meet my challenges and obstacles the best that I'm able, and keep moving, not getting fixated on the areas that still aren't working, or aren't working at the moment.
On a positive note, my first batch of DRIP unstaked yesterday, which I swapped for 217+ SWAP.HIVE, which I used to acquire 60+ PWR which went into the SWAP.HIVE:PWR diesel/liquidity pool, a good chunk of DHEDGE and DVS to add to the DVS:DHEDGE pool, enough CENT to add the rest of my SWAP.BTC into the CENT:SWAP.BTC pool, 15 BBHM, and 20,000 BBH (@bradleyarrow, when you're ready to make the BBH dividend payouts daily, let @borniet or I know, and we'll make it happen!). This has notably boosted my daily and weekly SWAP.HIVE income, which was the intention, so I'd say that it was a good reinvestment indeed.
The next batch of DRIP will unstake in a week, and I'll be repeating most of what I did this round, as my daily SWAP.HIVE income still needs a bit of a boost for easeful daily token operarations, though I will also be investing in BBHO and DUO. The market price of DRIP has been dropping ever since the ending of the daily SWAP.HIVE payouts, so the next three batches of DRIP to unstake will likely be progressively worth less SWAP.HIVE, but I still think that I'll be able to create a solid base with my reinvestments if the price holds within a certain range.
The other less fun news is that my laptop is presently unbootable because of ASUS firmware bugs causing chaos with the Linux kernel. During a routine hard drive swap (I have 3 separate hard drives, with 3 different installations of Arch Linux on each, that I periodically swap in and out on my laptop) I discovered to my horror that a particular boot problem related to the laptop firmware had reared it's ugly head again, and on another installation. The big issue was that this boot issue was not the main problem, as I've always been able to fix it in the past, but my attempts to do just that this time met with two other issues that I had not encountered before. I resolved one, but the second more perplexing one remains unsolved, and my laptop remains unbootable. Blah!
One good thing related to this is that I was able to use a USB drive with Arch install media on it, to run my Qortal node via a chroot, into my unbootable Arch installation. For the important things, I will always find a way. What I do on Hive is the same. I don't honestly know what I'm going to do about my laptop yet, or how I'm going to resolve this issue, especially considering that everthing which has always worked before, is very much not working now. I'm determined, though, so I know that I'll find a solution. I just hope that it's soon!
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House quite late, after finishing my Hive tasks, just before 3PM, in part because of the above-mentioned computer calamity, which kept me occupied for a while. I finally left to go collect a wheelbarrow full of assorted foliage for cow-milking food, and as soon as it was done, I headed straight back to the Flow House, to focus on finding a solution to my laptop boot problem, and then to get to my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I started quite late, around 8:30PM, as things were not going well with my problem-resolution endeavor, and as such I also wasn't able to get fully caught up on my notifications before I had to stop around 12:30AM, and after some quick token management, go to bed. Sadly I did not sleep well again, waking up just before 7:15AM, doing more token management, writing and publishing My 137th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Surpassed, and Lots of Reinvestment!, starting on this post, then going to make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk Daisy with Jo. After milking, I headed back to the Flow House (after stopping off at the Leadership Council meeting, to attend to some business) to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, and working on my computer problem again, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), hopefully take photos for these posts (it's been raining all morning), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
