Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! π π π β¨ π€
For my (quite late) entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 190, I want to share a handful of photos with you, that I took earlier today on this rainy Saturday, of the lovely reflections of a coconut palm, and an avocado tree (the last one), in a couple puddles that formed from all the torrential rain. Most of my entries in the Reflection Hunters Contest are taken with the help of my ever-trusty portable mirror, since natural reflective surfaces here are rare (this part of the Island is too new to form standing bodies of water, as the water goes straight through into the porious lava below), but with so much rain today, I had puddles of water, so no need for my mirror (it wouldn't have worked with the rain, anyway).
While there were only a couple puddles that provided an interesting view, with one in particular offering a rather nice reflecting of coconut palm, I was still able to get a few good shots. Taking these photos was not exactly easy, as it never stopped raining, so I had to use an umbrella to protect my phone from the rain, and because the near-continuous raindrops made getting a clear imagine of the tree quite challenging indeed. I hope that you enjoy these photos, because they definitely took some effort to get! π π π β¨ π€
