This is my entry to the weekly social media challenge My battle in this week's challenge is really amazing, till the middle of the battle it seemed that I was going to lose very badly, but then my 2 new warriors changed the course of the battle.
As I told you in my previous blog, after losing a lot of battles in a row I thought maybe I needed some better monsters. Because most of my opponents had one or more better monsters in every battle. So I rented 2 Monsters of the Earth element from Monsters Market.
Let's now discuss my most remarkable Splinterlands battle to date.
The total mana cap for this battle was 50, including the summoner's cost.

This was the second time I chose the summoner of Earth element because now I have to learn about other elements besides fire and death element. The reason behind choosing Obsidian as my summoner was that the 2 monsters I rented both belonged to the Earth element and also had magic powers which is the ability of this summoner.

I created my team by using all my mana caps with these monsters.
Now I will take you to my battle!
Round 1
This is the view just before the one-on-one battle starts. When all monsters got Summoner's powers, since my opponent had the power to increase one health and one melee of each of his monsters, he did his job and each of his monsters got one health and one melee attack. And since my Summoner could add a magic attack, 2 of my rented monsters regained their initial magic attack. After which now it was time for the monsters to fight.
Round 1.5
Here you will know why I had said at the beginning of this blog that till the middle of the battle, it seemed that I would lose very badly.
It was just the beginning of the first round when the opponent's third monster knocked out my second last but important monster in one hit. This was really a shock because I like this monster a lot due to its double-strike ability.
After which I was left with a total of 5 monsters and the opponent had all his 6 monsters.
Round 2
After that shock, I had just given myself some hope when at the beginning of the second round, the same third monster of the opponent killed my last monster. Now I was left with only 4 monsters and the opponent had all his 6 monsters alive. Here for the first time, I felt that it is almost impossible to win this battle now.
Round 3
But not only I was saddened about losing my two monsters, but my remaining monsters were also in the mood for revenge which I found out when my current last monster responded to the opponent's attack with his thorns ability and Lord Thanalor, being in second place, killed the opponent's first-placed monster. Seeing this attack and the fighting spirit of the remaining monsters in my team, I felt that the battle was still going on.
Round 4
This is an example of the Thorns ability of my current last monster. When the opponent's second monster made a melee attack on my last monster, my monster did 2 melee damage back to the attacker due to his Thorns ability and with this, at the beginning of the fourth round, each of us lost 1 monster and now I was left with only 3 monsters and the opponent had 4.
Round 5
Before the start of the fifth round, one more monster of the opponent was killed, after which, at the beginning of the fifth round, another attack of Lord Thanalor destroyed another monster of the opponent. Now the tone of the battle had completely changed and my monsters were dominating the opponent's monsters due to which the opponent was losing monsters one after the other and I was getting the lead in the game.
Round 6
Now, due to being outnumbered and because my remaining monsters were still enough strong, before the beginning of the sixth round, the opponent lost another of his monsters and then at the beginning of the sixth round the last monster of the opponent's team was also knocked out and I won this battle!
Conclusion and what I learned!
You saw how despite being beaten at the beginning, my stronger monsters took the lead in the battle. Also, the way the monster with the Thorns Ability did its revenge attack caused a lot of damage to the opponent. And the high-damage attacking power of my 2 rented monsters was also really amazing. Here I learned how good and correct cards give you an edge in battle and also the position of monsters in the battlefield matters a lot.
Difficulties will surely increase with each increasing level. So, It is also important to make some changes in your team of monsters, and also if you understand the abilities and their limits, then no one can stop you from winning the Splinterlands Battles.
