I'm grateful for the happiest day of my life, I'm grateful for the milestones I have reached, I'm grateful for the new heights I have attained within a short period of time, should I be the Woman I have become?????
If strength and resilience was a person, I would be the one.I would have been knocked out, but I choose the path of determination, fearlessness and unwavering faith in God's promises concerning my Life.
In the past year, I have experienced speedbumps, loops, potholes, storms and fire. All these have
tried and refined me as gold.
A lot has happened in the just concluded episode of my life. A lot of wins, disappointment, failures, health challenges, mistakes, celebration and milestones achieved. I'm grateful for the happiest days of my life, I'm grateful for the rainy days, the bad days served as learning grounds, the failures served as room for improvement.
Within the last year and now, I have attained Milestones that I had mere wishes for in the other years, big dreams have started germinating and in no distant time it will become real.
It's another November 6 — my birthday.
Today is one of those days I get to take stock of my beautiful life, recounting all my blessings, challenges, achievements and progress.
The last 365 days of my life has not been a smooth ride but a rollercoaster. In spite of these, God has always given me the courage to press on and here I am today standing tall and in perfect health.
All I can say is “Thank You, Lord” for loving and caring for me. I may not have the right words but I know you know my heart and you know I'm deeply grateful. I'm particularly grateful for the gift of good and concerned friends because they have been instrumental in making my life colorful.
On this special day of my life, I pray for divine strength and courage to chase my dreams regardless of the hurdles that may surface along the way.
Happy birthday to me once again.
