Hurray, It's 6 years on X, and 5 Years on InLeo!!!

Today isn't my birthday, it was in June and I celebrated in this space. However, today is an important date in my social media engagement journey. I got a notification from X (formerly Twitter) that it's my 6th anniversary. That's a lot, from 20th July 2018 to date. While looking at the 6th-anniversary badge created for me by X, I remember that I got to engage X when I had to start promoting my Hive posts on web2 social media.
I've grown to love the X (Twitter) space among all my web2 social media options. X looks more professional to me and easy to navigate. I love the ambiance of X. I appreciate the evolution of X from the days of Jack Dorsey's "Twitter" to the fast-evolving days of Elon Musk's "X". X became the first social media I subscribed to for premium membership. The features I could access were quite interesting and addicting.
As I celebrated my Six years of consistent patronage of X, I remember that @khaleelkazi talked about 5 years of InLeo and INLEO is the web3 version of X. That means I've been a part of InLeo for about 5 years too, a year less than I've been on X. The duo of X and InLeo have become my favorite social media platforms in the web2 and web3 sphere respectively. More interesting is that they look alike and I use same profile images on both.

While my handles on X and InLeo serve different but closely related purposes, both platforms have lots of semblance in my engagements- posts (long form and short form), followers, premium subscriptions, and earnings. It looks like I've had a taste of almost all of those features.

Reminiscing the past six years of my engagement on X, I gained my premium membership last year, after two months, I secured my first premium badge on InLeo. However, gulping over $2.3k as author rewards on InLeo is incredible.
My expectations for the years ahead is high. I'm using both platforms to build each other. I market my InLeo content on X for wider reach to web2 audience, I use the money earned in InLeo to fund my premium subscription on X. I'm hoping to scale the engagement of both platforms representing the web2 and web3 environment in the coming weeks and months.
For me, social media is beyond a place for fun and information, I prioritize learning, genuine connections and collaborations that can birth huge value for humanity.

There are no regrets for spending 6 years on X and 5 years on InLeo. It can only get better. I wish friends our there on web2 can also have a feel of the value that the web3 X - InLeo is offering so they can maximize their experiences on X.
