Without respite, events reported that are certain to require our attention keep coming. Pavel Durov has been arrested in France and the recent exposition by Anarchast of Telegram's probable compromise by Russia's FSB is probably useful to consider in analyzing the import of Durov's arrest.

This video is a good explanation of Durov's arrest and what we should take away from it.

I very much wish Peakd enabled me to post video from sources besides Youtool, which I detest. I am aware I can post 3speak video, but this involves a steep learning curve to become a vlogger I am unwilling to undertake, and I neither know of any 3speak video with the above information.

There is indeed more than I can digest, and far more, and more relevant, information I never learn of. I depend a great deal on @theouterlight's regular digests of current insanity to stay abreast of a lot of current events because I don't use Telegram, Twatter, Fakebook, or other such social media, and I haven't watched television or any of the corporate mass media since before 9/11. From time to time I have seen it at other's homes, and that is more than enough for me.

Thank you for the source for digested information. Too many things are happening in the world at the same time. This makes it hard to know what’s the most important event that will trigger more serious consequences.
Sometimes I just have to switch off my mind and be still.

Where I live, there are news reports that Telegram is becoming a platform for anti-socialists to engage in terrorism and crime.

I assumed you thought Telegram protected individual freedom of speech and privacy!
