Introduction
Good day to everyone, a week had passed in the city and it's time to update the progress of my city and the things that happen in the city. In today's post, I will be looking at the prices of SIM and also if it is a good time to stock up to work towards being a SIM millionaire.
What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.
My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment. Added a new Ice Cream shop to resolve the unemployment issue. Made some SIM this week as well from young citizen sales too.
Unemployment more or less fixed with just 1 citizen unemployed. I am hoping for more young citizens to reach student stage so that I can see more new citizens coming into the workforce and I will be able to develop my city further.
SIM Market
To start off, I will examine the current price of SIM, which is hovering at 0.00016511 Hive per SIM and there is sufficient trading volume.
And to get to 1 million SIM, one will need commit approximately 165-170 Hive which translates to about $37-38 USD. I think this is something that is definitely within reach for a number of us.
By holding onto 1million SIM in your wallet and then achieving 30 day average of SIM token holdings, you will now be able to be part of the SIM Millionaire Club. I am still working on my SIM Tokens accumulation to get into the club. Currently I am looking into selling other layer 2 tokens to help fund for my SIM accumulation.
Current Delta to 1M tokens is at: 870k SIM
Will need some time, but with active playing, planning and trading, I should be able to reach there in due course.
SIM Millionaire Club
By being part of this club, one will be able to participate in closed events only available to club members. It could in the form of auctions, raffles and other stuff.
Being a SIM Millionaire also allows you daily claim of a student. This will be amazing as you will be able to push for city development.
I've just heard about club curation as well where Millionaires are able to recommend posts for curation and it is really very attractive to allow the game holding account to grow where good content is shared about the game and for the content creator.
These few benefits of being in the club are already making me pumped up to continue building up my SIM power and quickly get into the club, especially the price of SIM is quite affordable now.
Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 130,951 SIM. Quite a decent increase as I continue to increase the holdings because of young citizen sales.
Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.
With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, my 30 day average is will likely see a few days of Sim Power increase. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:
Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.75 liquid Hive per month. The numbers continue to increase and building towards the goal I had for using the liquid Hive to fund for Hive Power Up Day. At this moment, it look a little far-fetch, however as I continue to grow, one day I know I will reach there.
Closing
