Hello everyone, It's the first day of the month of September and also happens to be the first creative Sunday this month, and I'm delighted to participate in this section of the creation prompt, showcasing one of my newest designs. This is a logo design I made for a fellow hive who's a fashion designer and asked that I help her design a logo for her brand, so today I'll take you through the process of how I designed this logo.
Although she has asked that I help her with a logo design for about a month now, I was too busy to craft it, but I did promise I'll work on it once we vacate from my offline work, and now that we're on holiday, here is the logo design I made using the Canva app, and I'll be showing you my procedure in case you also want to do something like this for yourself or someone close to you in the near future.
So, like I said, I used the Canva app, and to begin with, I opened the app and went to the logo section, where they've got thousands of readymade templates that you can literally choose from and edit to your preference. For me, I've no plans of using the template; instead, I just want to craft the design from Scratch using the normal shape standard for logos, which I clicked on and began my journey to designing the logo.
After clicking on the create blank, it led to a black and white page, and the first thing I did was to change the color of the background from white to black, because that's what I wanted.

After this, I went on to search from the available stickers relating to fashion; just as she requested when she was explaining her preference, I searched through the available ones and ended up choosing this one, which I changed the color to gold.

After placing the fashion-related symbol in the middle of the page, I went on to create a text column so I could write her brand name, "Glori Clothing." After picking the text and writing, I also changed the font to someone unique, just as she requested, and placed the name around the fashion-related sticker.

Lastly, just to serve as a Moto or description of the kind of clothes being made at her brand, I created another text column, this time around placing it under the stickers and writing the word "Women Boutique." I also made sure to change the font.

And that's how I completed the logo design; it's actually simple; in as much as you can dream or envisioned it, then Canva will give you the opportunity to bring it to life. That's about it on my entry for the creative Sunday this week. What's your opinion of the logo design?
HIVE POWER UP DAY
Happy new month, everyone! It's good to see we're now in September, the ninth month of the year, and being the first day of the month, it means it's another hive power-up day. Today I've joined the host of other hives that powered up today, and below is my recount of my power-up, growth between last month and now, and optimizing for this month.
So this month I did power up 20 hives, and that made me have a total of 10881 hive power. That's quite amazing, because after powering up in the last hpud, all I have in HP was 10377, and that insinuates that I've had an increase of 504 HP the last power up day, and today, my dream is to continually increase my hive power, and let's see what September holds in store regarding that.
