Hello, I hope you are well, I have returned here because I feel the need to recommend a channel that I found recently by chance, as I told you some time ago, I am a big consumer of youtube videos, so very often the platform offers me some recommendations, and it was in this way that I came to Tamayo's channel, a young journalist and filmmaker who is dedicated to making very interesting investigations and reports on cults and scams of all kinds, but he does not stop there, but many of his reports have him as the protagonist infiltrating a dangerous organization, as in the case of cults, so join me to analyze a little more this channel, and give you a little more context.
Hola, espero que estén bien, yo he regresado por aquí porque siento la necesidad de recomendarles un canal que encontré recientemente por casualidad, como les dije hace tiempo, yo soy un gran consumidor de videos de youtube, de modo que muy a menudo la plataforma me ofrece algunas recomendaciones, y fue de esta manera que llegué al canal de Tamayo, un joven periodista y cineasta que se dedica a hacer investigaciones y reportajes muy interesantes sobre sectas y estafas de todo tipo, pero él no se queda solo en eso, sino que muchos de sus reportajes lo tienen a él como protagonista infiltrándose en alguna peligrosa organización, como en el caso de las sectas, así que acompáñenme para analizar un poco más a este canal, y así darles a ustedes un poco más de contexto.
Tamayo's main objective through his detailed investigations, is to show you how these types of sects or scam organizations originate, develop and captivate you, like the so called smoke peddlers, for example, that offer you thousands of benefits that seem utopian but plausible at the same time. Tamayo goes directly to the area of interest, changes his appearance and interviews directly with the leaders, pretending total interest, like those videos in which he infiltrated directly into a sect called Palmarian Church of Troy, a pseudo-religion very similar to the Catholic one but with their own rules, they even have a self-proclaimed pope, they also have their own dress code, and it is interesting to see the complete series of videos where Tamayo infiltrates and interviews the members pretending to be a young man interested in the sect, of course recording incognito.
El objetivo principal de Tamayo a través de sus detalladas investigaciones, es mostrarte como se originan, desarrollan y te cautivan este tipo de sectas u organizaciones de estafa, como los llamados vendedores de humo, por ejemplo, que te ofrecen miles de beneficios que parecen utópicos pero plausibles al mismo tiempo. Tamayo va directamente hacia la zona de interés, cambia su apariencia y se entrevista directamente con los líderes, fingiendo total interés, como esos videos en los cuales se infiltró directamente en una secta llamada Iglesia Palmariana de Troya, una seudoreligión muy parecida a la católica pero con sus propias reglas, incluso tienen un papa auto proclamado, también tienen su propio código de vestimenta, y resulta interesante ver la serie de videos completa donde Tamayo se infiltra y entrevista a los miembros haciéndose pasar por un joven interesado en la secta, desde luego grabando de incognito.
I also found interesting that series of videos where he infiltrates another sect where the members consume a tea made with a hallucinogenic herb called Ayahuasca, but the most interesting video is where one of the members of the sect discovers him and he has to run for his life.
También me pareció interesante esa serie de videos donde se infiltra en otra secta donde los miembros consumen un té elaborado con una hierba alucinógena llamada Ayahuasca, pero el video más interesante es donde uno de los miembros de dicha secta lo descubre y él tiene que salir corriendo para salvar su vida.
After all this, Tamayo became so well known and respected for his work that on one occasion, his teacher in everything to do with his knowledge of filmmaking, camera handling and editing, called him to help him with his influence to make a documentary in which he could prove his supposed innocence, Tamayo warned him that he would be objective and that after his investigation he would bring out the truth, whether he was guilty or not, and it turned out that the guy was more guilty than Tamayo thought, and all of this was compiled into a documentary for Prime Video.
Después de todo esto, Tamayo llegó a ser tan conocido y respetado por su labor que en una ocasión, su maestro en todo lo que tiene que ver con sus conocimientos sobre cine, manejo de cámaras y edición, lo llamó para que con su influencia lo ayudara a realizar un documental en el cual él pudiera demostrar su supuesta inocencia, ya que estaba siendo acusado por pedofilia, Tamayo le advirtió que sería objetivo y que tras su investigación sacaría a la luz la verdad, tanto si era culpable como si no, y resultó ser que el tipo era más culpable de lo que Tamayo pensaba, y todo esto fue compilado en un documental para Prime Video.
