Chapitre 4.2 : Les Échos du Passé
Élisée et son équipe partirent à l'aube, traversant des paysages désolés et des ruines anciennes. Plus ils s'approchaient des Terres Brûlées, plus l'air devenait chaud et lourd, chargé d'une énergie oppressante. Les cendres volaient dans le vent, et le sol craquelé semblait respirer sous leurs pieds.
Lorsqu'ils atteignirent les Terres Brûlées, ils furent témoins des phénomènes décrits par l'étranger. Des flammes bleues dansaient dans les ruines, et des silhouettes faites de cendres et de feu erraient parmi les débris. Élisée sentit une présence ancienne et puissante, comme si le Dieu du Feu lui-même les observait.
Ils découvrirent un temple en ruines, autrefois dédié au Dieu du Feu. À l'intérieur, ils trouvèrent des inscriptions anciennes et des artefacts qui parlaient d'un rituel pour invoquer le Dieu du Feu. Élisée comprit que quelqu'un, ou quelque chose, essayait de le ramener à la vie.
Alors qu'ils exploraient le temple, une voix retentit dans leurs esprits, une voix brûlante et furieuse. "Vous qui avez survécu à ma colère, vous qui avez trouvé refuge dans l'ombre, sachez que je reviendrai. Le feu ne peut être éteint, et il consumera tout sur son passage."
Élisée, bien que terrifiée, resta ferme. Elle savait qu'ils devaient empêcher le retour du Dieu du Feu, mais elle ne savait pas comment. Elle rassembla les artefacts et les inscriptions, espérant qu'ils pourraient contenir des indices pour arrêter le rituel.
De retour à Lunaris, Élisée partagea ses découvertes avec Kael et son conseil. Ils étudièrent les artefacts et les inscriptions, découvrant qu'un ancien artefact, le Cœur de Flamme, était la clé pour invoquer ou bannir le Dieu du Feu. Cet artefact avait été perdu lors de la chute du Premier Monde, mais Élisée était déterminée à le retrouver.
Ainsi commença une nouvelle quête, une course contre la montre pour retrouver le Cœur de Flamme avant que le Dieu du Feu ne soit complètement réveillé. Élisée savait que les défis à venir seraient immenses, mais elle était prête à tout pour protéger son peuple et empêcher une nouvelle apocalypse.
Et dans le ciel, la lune brillait, rappelant à tous que même dans les moments les plus sombres, l'espoir pouvait toujours briller.
Chapter 4.2: Echoes of the Past
Élisée and her team set out at dawn, crossing desolate landscapes and ancient ruins. The closer they got to the Scorched Lands, the hotter and heavier the air became, thick with an oppressive energy. Ash swirled in the wind, and the cracked ground seemed to breathe beneath their feet.
When they reached the Scorched Lands, they witnessed the very phenomena the stranger had described. Blue flames danced in the ruins, and figures made of ash and fire wandered among the debris. Élisée felt an ancient and powerful presence, as if the God of Fire himself was watching them.
They discovered a ruined temple, once dedicated to the God of Fire. Inside, they found ancient inscriptions and artifacts that spoke of a ritual to summon the deity. Élisée realized that someone—or something—was attempting to bring him back to life.
As they explored the temple, a voice echoed in their minds—searing and furious.
"You who have survived my wrath, you who have taken refuge in the shadows, know this: I will return. The fire cannot be extinguished, and it will consume all in its path."
Though fear gripped her, Élisée stood firm. She knew they had to stop the return of the God of Fire, but she had no idea how. Gathering the artifacts and inscriptions, she hoped they would contain clues on how to halt the ritual.
Back in Lunaris, Élisée shared her discoveries with Kael and the council. They studied the artifacts and inscriptions, uncovering the existence of an ancient relic—the Heart of Flame—the key to either summoning or banishing the God of Fire. This artifact had been lost during the fall of the First World, but Élisée was determined to find it.
Thus began a new quest—a race against time to locate the Heart of Flame before the God of Fire could fully awaken. Élisée knew that the challenges ahead would be immense, but she was willing to do whatever it took to protect her people and prevent another apocalypse.
And in the sky, the moon shone—a reminder to all that even in the darkest times, hope could still prevail.
