Nature always finds curious ways to reveal itself, and this time, it was through tiny traces inside my home.
It all started with an unusual detail: a handful of small dark grains scattered across my balcony floor. At first, I was intrigued and thought they were seeds—until I realized they were nothing more than caterpillar poop! HAHHAHAHHA That’s when the investigation began.
Following the traces, I took a closer look at my fern and found these tiny creatures hidden among the leaves. Perfectly camouflaged, they had been there for a while, feeding and growing without me noticing. I took the opportunity to capture the details—the patterns on their bodies, the delicate textures, and how they interact with their surroundings.
What started as an unexpected surprise turned into an invitation to observe more closely the small worlds around us. Nature is always full of stories to tell—all it takes is the right perspective to see them.
This is my entry for the @PhotoFeed Contest, with the theme Macro Photography, in round 104.

A natureza sempre encontra formas curiosas de se revelar, e dessa vez foi através de pequenos rastros dentro de casa.
Tudo começou com um detalhe inusitado: uma quantidade de pequenos grãos escuros espalhados pelo chão da minha varanda. Confesso que, no início, fiquei intrigada e achei que eram sementes, mas só até perceber que aquilo nada mais era do que cocô de lagarta! HAHHAHAHHA Foi aí que a investigação começou.
Segui os rastros e, ao olhar mais de perto minha samambaia, encontrei essas pequenas criaturas escondidas entre as folhas. Perfeitamente camufladas, elas já estavam ali há um tempo, se alimentando e crescendo, sem que eu tivesse notado. Aproveitei a oportunidade de capturar detalhes, os padrões dos corpos, as texturas delicadas e a forma como elas interagem com o ambiente ao redor.
O que começou como uma surpresa inesperada virou um convite para observar mais atentamente os pequenos mundos à nossa volta. A natureza está sempre cheia de histórias para contar – basta ter o olhar certo para enxergá-las.
