Good morning, FungiFriends!🍄
Here is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw :)
Last week, as is customary on my daily route to the gym, I passed a spot where there is a small area of grass in a flowerbed by the pavement, and where there is a tree stump.
We've had a few periods of heavy rain in recent weeks, which has certainly helped these beautiful specimens to bear fruit!
In February of this year, I had already witnessed a large mega-mushroom appear on exactly the same tree stump! As you can see here in my previous post (link)
This week I noticed that more than a dozen mushrooms had bloomed in the same place!
Unfortunately, as I don't have the opportunity to go for walks in the countryside, I don't have as much chance to capture these beautiful fungi!
I was so happy that I had to take photos straight away! And it's a good thing I did, because two days later, as the temperatures had risen considerably, these specimens were already decomposing.
It's always good to be able to find little pearls like this, even in the most densely populated urban centres.
I wish you an excellent weekend!
All the best🍀
I hope you enjoyed my humble post here in your #FungiFriday community!
Thank you for taking the time to read my post
