Cuando el artista transmite su modo de vida, logra resultados maravillosos y enriquecedor en todos los sentidos; es como cuando dicen que la obra es el artista y viceversa, focalizados en un lenguaje claro y comprometido, en un patrón identitario que valoriza a lo referente de que es el arte. En esta ocasión para el concurso El color de las letras de la comunidad @soloescribe, no podría enfocarme en solo uno de los artistas que en la publicación se expresa, más aún cuando Reverón y Rengifo han sido unos de los mayores exponentes del arte venezolano, por tal motivo hablaré desde el lenguaje que lograron y muchos elementos que, en lo particular, visualizo en sus obras.
Desde una visión crítica y literaria, el arte se constituye por un sistema de signos y códigos visuales donde, cada artista, lo maneja de forma diferente a través de distintos materiales, técnicas, soportes, pero, sobre todo, desde la idea y como lo llegan a interpretar. Es decir, manifiesta a través de un objeto aquellos conocimientos y visiones tanto subjetivas como objetivas de la realidad vivida, jugando con la estética de la misma.
Es por ello que, por medio del arte, se aprende, se comprende y se traduce el mundo tanto externo como individual, el cómo llegamos a ver y descifrar el contexto en el que vivimos básicamente. Todo eso forma parte del lenguaje del artista, enmarcado en esa complejidad de código configurados en los colores, texturas y composiciones.
En este sentido, Armando Reverón y Cesar Rengifo no están exento de ello, más bien introdujeron nuevas maneras de codificación dentro del arte venezolano; uno con su tema de la luz, logró explorar la pragmática de la vida, mientras que el otro llevo el tema social a otro nivel.

Reverón con su toque de imágenes oníricas, indagando en el uso de materiales en su máxima pureza y pocos convencionales para la época, como el musgo y su propio excremento. El elemento central en todos ellos: la luz, manifestado en 3 periodos claves.
En la monocromía del azul, profundo y sensual, impresiones paisajísticas y cuerpos femeninos. El blanco en su corte abstracto, con el uso de materiales físicos dentro de fondos difusos. Por último, el sepia, trazado con más gestualidad y producciones dramáticas, donde sus muñecas toman mayor protagonismo.

Pinceladas que no detallan contorno, parecieran que fuesen sueños, resultados resplandecientes de imágenes que no son claras, así como cuando el sol esta fuerte que no logras captar completamente aquello a lo lejos. Son trazos en manchas, que te permite entender como la luz es un elemento esencial y etéreo dentro de toda obra.

Ahora bien, ¿Qué ocurre con Rengifo? Vemos un mundo totalmente diferente a Reverón y eso es lo maravilloso del arte, te permite entender que todos somos distintos y por tal motivo, tenemos muchas formas de comunicarnos y de cualquier tema. En este caso, Rengifo nos introduce más a una cotidianidad social con un toque de influencia al muralismo mexicano, esos fondos opacos que otorgan profundidad a la obra y la figura humana en acciones cotidianas, las cuales toman el protagonismo, desde su forma critica.
A modo para finalizar, el artista se mueve en la constante experiencia, donde va construyendo sus formas comunicativas, sobre todo lo que visualiza externo e internamente, Reverón al querer manifestar los paisajes venezolanos, nos llevo a conocer la luz dentro del arte como un elemento importante de expresión y Rengifo, con sus figuras alargadas y fondos profundos, nos trajo el contexto social que vivía en el momento.

On this occasion for the contest The color of the letters of the community @soloescribe, I could not focus on only one of the artists expressed in the publication, especially when Reverón and Rengifo have been some of the greatest exponents of Venezuelan art, so I will speak from the language they achieved and many elements that, in particular, I visualize in their works.
From a critical and literary vision, art is constituted by a system of signs and visual codes where each artist handles it differently through different materials, techniques, supports, but, above all, from the idea and how they come to interpret it. That is to say, it manifests through an object those subjective and objective knowledge and visions of the lived reality, playing with the aesthetics of it.

All this is part of the artist's language, framed in that complexity of code configured in colors, textures and compositions.

They are strokes in spots, which allow you to understand how light is an essential and ethereal element in every work.

Now, what happens with Rengifo? We see a world totally different from Reverón and that is the wonderful thing about art, it allows you to understand that we are all different and for that reason, we have many ways of communicating with each other and with any subject. In this case, Rengifo introduces us more to a social everyday life with a touch of influence to Mexican muralism, those opaque backgrounds that give depth to the work and the human figure in everyday actions, which take the lead, from its critical form.
Finally, the artist moves in constant experience, where he builds his communicative forms, on everything he visualizes externally and internally. Reverón, in wanting to show Venezuelan landscapes, brought us to know the light within art as an important element of expression, and Rengifo, with his elongated figures and deep backgrounds, brought us the social context he lived in at the time.
