Hello everyone! It’s good to share with you the family bonding that we had on my eldest child’s 19th birthday. Yes, I am 37 and I have a 19 year old son and a 5 year old daughter.
We went to Dahilayan Forest and Adventure Park at Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines. It was not planned but it was given by the chance so here we are enjoying it while strengthening the bond of the family.
I am always thankful and grateful to God for the gift of family. Yes, our family is not perfect it has its ups and downs but glory to the Almighty Father we were able to surpass it all. And I am praying and hoping that God is with us if we are given another challenge and battle.
It was not my first time their but it was my first time with my family. When we arrived I can see faces painted with excitement, curiosity, and amazement. The place was exhilarating accompanied by the cold breeze since it’s a bit in the mountain part.
My daughter was very much excited to enter in their park since she was fond of the swing and the trampaulin and she is having fun to just run around. She never gets tired.
There was this sound that caught my daughter's attention. It was like a sound of a rushing falls while the people were excitingly shouting. It was the rainbow slide where you will ride on a floater while sliding on a long rainbow slide. But sad to say only 7 years old and up are allowed to slide. :(
Then we cross the hanging bridge to pass going to the luge.
This is the scariest part for me because one of my fears is driving and this time I am going to maneuver it by myself. This is really the part where I need to conquer my fear. Through the cheering and words of inspiration from my family I was able to make it hahahaha. When you let fear to reign in your heart you will not really know how far you can go. Never let fear hamper you from trying to do the things that might make you grow.
We had our lunch at the park’s cafeteria. The food was good and just worth it for the price. It was a birthday indeed!
Along our route we pass by at the park’s display of vintage cars. It amazed our children since they can only see it in television.
We had fun also at the mini-golf course where my children pass all the courses and had fun. My little girl had tagged along and play with other tourists whom are Italian.
That birthday treat made me realized that time spent with family is the most precious time you can have.
We ended that day with a side trip pictorial, happily, and with memories that we can keep in our hearts forever.
